Hmm weird it never happens to me if i wait 2-3 minutes.

When you change inventory, don't log out for at least 3-5 minutes, that way it is saved when you log out.

Haha we found those guys (we write the names of the alt f4 guys) on a quad, we opened fire and killed both, then we realized that they were the alt f4 guys from yesterday haha that was amazing. Yeah didnt want to alt f4 on a quad, they tried to rush away.

Is not really an answer for this problem. A person may never disconnect until he is attacked and only then alt f4's it takes way too long to identify those players as alt f4 in that solution.

Hey guys So i got a question.. i play on a server that is owned by someone i know from a forum. I play a lot on that server because we got different clans etc on there, so a lot of fighting in the North which is awesome. Sometimes we kill entire clans and sometimes we get killed as well. Now comes the problems, we were under fire at the NE airfield so one of our snipers took a shot and killed one of the four enemies, and well i guess you can guess it. Poof other 3 guys gone, and reconnected 500 meters south of the airfield to attack us again, luckily we got a thermal scope so we saw them coming again and took another shot, last 2 guys alt f4 and never came back. 2 days ago, our camp was found and half looted. We felt pretty bad but then suddenly we saw 3 ghillied guys run right to our camp to attack/loot it again. I was with one other guy with a AS50 so i spotted and he shot one ghillie, and guess what, the other 2 poof gone. And came back 1km out of where he died. I saw him with my thermal again, took a few shots and poof gone again. This is getting completely out of hand, it is funny at one hand because we keep winning those encounters even after they alt f4 but still, it is pathetic. The worst part is, someone shot on our guys, luckily he survided. We returned fire(so we were not the aggressors) and he alt f4's Can we ban these alt f4 guys when we have enough proof? This has NOTHING to do with admin abuse, because we really really like other clans and groups on our server for the challenge because it is awesome, but when we get the drop on them hands down, they should not just alt f4 like that. I keep reading different things here, one said it is bannable another said it isn't very confusing. Personally i think Rockets system of loggin the login and logout is way too passive and won't deal with the problem anytime soon(i do know the arma engine makes it hard for other solutions but still)

I agree with you, but uh DayZ itself is a free mod in development so refund is not gonna cut it. They do need to do SOMETHING about the hackers though, maybe just kill them or something.

Any reason why there are dozens of hackers active on almost EVERY server today? What the hell happened? Normally you only saw a hacker once in a while...

AS 50 Thermo is a hacked weapon, only without Thermo is in game. And no one can blow up a castle with the weapons available in DayZ.

Wont work. NL, DE, BE, and LU servers have also been hacked. I think most hackers are American so they naturally take their own servers first. All servers are getting hacked at the moment.

Nice keep doing what you do! Why are there hackers like this today? What in the world changed that now suddenly there are DOZENS of hackers? Normally you saw one sometimes, not like this.

Hackers are ruining this for all of us. But it does not mean the end of the game, the game is still in early development. I just hope the DayZ staff break away from ArmA 2 (hell even Bohemia i guess) asap so that they can have their own engine and more importantly ANTI cheat program. This is NOT working.

Yeah i'll stop playing myself too for a few days wait till it gets better. It is good that the hacker topics are popping up at this high rate, so the devs(even though it is not their fault) can see how many hackers there are today.

In NL 17 server everyone was teleported to the NW airfield and fired upon. My friends luckily alt F4'd on the right time so they all live, i hope the other people did that as well. In US 477 there was a guy in full military clothes including helmet(NOT DAYZ outfit!!!) shooting with a M249 and spawning himself close to players. I killed him once his name was Maggi, and before i could loot him i got shot again by the same weapon. Luckily he is actually a horrible shooter, so he missed most of it(really with a M249 200 round clip 10 meters away?????) so i could Alt F4. So many hackers today what the fuck is going on. It is ruining everything. Please rocket make a standalone DayZ that has NOTHING to do with ArmA2 and BattlEye. This absolutley SUCKS

It happened on NL 17 as well. And on US 477 there was a hacker with military gear and outfit(NO DAYZ outfit) shooting everyone with a M249. I killed him once(his in game name was Maggi but he can change it ...) and then he respawned next to me again. Then i Alt F4'd fuck those hackers.
