Best would be planning on spending the whole weekend gearing up only to find a tent 20 min after spawning and being completly geared (gillie suits and nvg) with some top of the line weapons .

I went there once... with my son... after fighting off a mass of plauged people that almost seemed rabid we left green mountian with a new feeling of fear. Later that evening my sons skin began to change color to a greyish black. Worried about him I gave him some Antibiotics we took off a body of a soldier near the radio antenna. it seemed to work till the next morning when he was missing from his room... There were finger nail marks on the backs of the doors and walls, I didnt understand what was going on. After 5 minutes of seaching I hear a screem and see my wife laying next to the garden we had outside of Zelenagorsk.. that's when I saw him, my son was riddled with blood and came charging at me! I shut the door and waited, armed with my Lee Enfield... As the door swong open I took aim pleading with him, Thats when he Lunged and I shot... I will never go back to Green Mountian... That mountian will haunt me till the day I die... Than I'll just respawn and try again but u know.... shit happens...

yeah people need to understand the endgame for Dayz is pvp... once u get good gear there really is nothing else other than shooting players.

I'm just going to throw this out ther, Wouldnt this game be amazing with the map and guns you can find if there wasnt zombies... but Dinosaurs.... Rapters in the high grass and around towns amongst other things. I just think this mod - zombies + dinosaurs = a great jurassic park game lol

I wouldnt mind regaining blood in the tent, but when you're asleep, it needs to keep you in the server for the an hour after falling asleep... gotta have some kind of risk.

That's the problem with todays generation of gamers, everything is spoon fed and they have there hands held on where to go and what to do.... Anyone remember the frist Zelda on NES.. You were thrown in the game and u had no idea where the hell to go or what to do... Those were great games, the ones comming out today are to help the Reality TV Dip Shit generations.....

Why do people keep trying to come up with ways to change/remove one of the key elements of this game... if you dont like the pvp dont play it.

ITS A SURVIVAL GAME!!!! PVP is going to be part of the game, people need to stop saying it needs to be moved to a different area, dissabled ect... PVP is always going to be part of the SURVIVAL!!

This one is mostly for rocket... I think because the servers are attached to your hive server you should enforce that all servers HAVE to have the latest patches and updates. That way there isnt servers running 7 different versions of the game and people are freezing at the loading screens or getting waiting for host errors ( yes, this is caused by someone with one version trying to connect to another) (the beta version for arma i mean) . I think this way would help you debug alot of the bugs in the game so you're not geting bug reports from servers with old versions and getting reports from bugs that you "thought" you fixed before. Anyway i think this would help with alot of the headache you may be having.

Forcing software onto a server and forcing the server to be updated to the lastest version of the game they're hosting is two different things...

sooo something like the zipper on the backpack is tied to the ring of a granade :P

im pretty sure you can post somewher eon this site if an admin does somethin to you for looting an item and that server will get shut down. There is a shit ton of guide lines they have to follow to host a server

yup i keep a Fal as my primary and a CZ in my pack for long range player encounters.

In order for this to work you'd need a currency system... in order for the system to work you'd need something like an NPC vendor at certian towns where you can buy gear (food/med supplies) or ammuntion perhaps even guns but make it so the ONLY way to get these items are by killing bandits... and make it so you're required x amount of kills to become a bandit and each kill there after increases your income. BUT I know how douche bag players are and they'd camp one area and kill eachother for profit.

Yeah... Lets add Pot... After a long day of searching and running from zombies, a nice buzz from a joint would relax the hell outa me... lol

Rocket, Is there any plan to start requiring servers to update to latest patch that way everyone is playing same version?

i love all the complainging threads.... its a free mod.. do u really think rocket gives 2 shits if you decide to quit or threaten to quit... 800k + playing for free.... im pretty sure if rocket lost 799,999 players he would have the same income as he has right now.

Regular does as well, at least the ones i've joined. but if you hold shift and click where you're going on the map you'll see a objective marker when you go outa the map to guide you where you're going.

When I think hacker I think of citys inside my computer along with a bunch of skateboarding punks..... on 28.8k modems ... haha what a great movie...
