I find Dayzcommander better than Sixupdater too well that was until Dayzcommander decided it wanted to minimize itself to my task bar and not open in full window anymore :rolleyes:

To launch OA via the shortcut go to menu>expansions and tick Dayz

Ive noticed a problem with my G35 headset. If I install the drivers for it the mic test (in windows) is very low & no-one can hear me in game BUT I can select 5.1 or 7.1 sound. If I dont install the drivers the mic test is very good (I suspect it should now work in game but am yet to test it) however I can only select mono or stereo sound in Windows.

I propose that in the absence of morphine we should be able to make a 'splint' for a broken leg so we can at least retain some sort of mobility. In order to do this you would still need wood either from your gear (which currently is a largely ignored item) or you will still need an axe (which most people tend to carry) & access to a forest. I suggest that our mobility however still be limited to some degree (you cant run though you can 'hobble' quickly). Same as in real life.

This is why you would still need morphine to completely heal it

Going by a comment Rocket made in a recent interview i suspect this is already on his list of 'things to do'. :)

Anyway today I was completely betrayed. So I was running through Elektro and I found a guy, He seemed nice enough, and after talking to him, he killed some zeds for me, I then took a risk. he was bleeding pretty bad, and he gave me some blood packs to gave him a blood donation. Afterwards, we went around Elektro together looking for guns, we only found a double barrel (he got it). He seemed nice enough, and when we went to the barn, we found an enfield. he asked if I wouldn't mind trading guns with me, I agreed, and then I told him I was gonna leave and join my friends in cherno. He then shot me in the back as I left the barn. What an asshole. If I see him again Im gonna so shoot him in the jaw.

Got attacked by zeds now got a persistent cough and am losing 3 units of blood every few seconds? Have bandaged and used morphine & painkillers several times? Antibiotics? The cough is annoying enough besides the fact I'm fucking dying here.

This is why I shoot on sight.

The other day I was in the supermarket & on about 6K blood. I was in the process of stocking up, just found an Alice pack, then spotted a guy looking in through the window. I shot him with my MP5 and he ducked away next thing a fucking zed came up through the solid concrete floor (only his head and shoulders were visible) and killed me with one hit before i could move. If I could have hit alt-F4 in this situation I would have. I honestly dont think Rocket should be taking this option out of the game until bugs like this one are fixed.

Walkie talkies are a great idea. Would be good if the reception or quality of the conversation was also impacted by distance (as in real life). The more realism Rocket can add to this game the better.

Fair enough using alt-f4 in this situation. Friend of mine did it the other day playing as me when I got turned into a cow. IMO alt-F4 still has its place.
