    I was playing earlier then after a shutdown & restart I got that stupid 'you cannot play you are missing chernarus' crap. I then followed a suggestion on here and copied over my addons folder to Arma OA & and no longer got the error. But then I continually stuck at loading.... So then I followed this http://www.battleye.com/download.html and reinstalled 1.7.1.4 & got straight into game! Its worth noting too that the battleye file sizes were different to what was in the folders so something is up with BE.

    Matches are rare now (I got mine after killing a player) but Ive found about 4 knives since starting my new character recently.

    I agree that recent changes have made this game extremely difficult to play, and more importantly, to ENJOY. Things that need to be fixed are: The weapon nerf More morphine needs to be placed on the map Less zeds The loading shit The requirement to reinstall the updates everything you shut down the game This game was fun a week or so ago but it has quickly gone downhill.

    You dont want to head north until you have survival supplies.

    I disagree. As it is it takes 2-3 bullets to kill a zed and dont forget it takes time to reload which in itself can be just enough time for them to eat your face off.

    As I said earlier I killed a guy in a melee last night with a hatchet even though he had a MP5. I'm sure he was like 'wtf??' after he died.
