I think the irony here trolling through this thread again is that Dayz has a huge issue at the moment with hackers that are ruining the game for many paying customers. Yet a resource that BI has to help significantly address this issue (ie server admins) lies dormant, with its hands tied, for fear those same paying customers might have their gaming experience unfairly ruined by server admins?? Rocket needs to wake up & realise that for many players the Dayz experience is ruined already & that 'hog-tying' server admins simply benefits the hackers. Server admins aren't the enemy here - hackers are! Server admins are here because they enjoy the game and put in a lot of time and effort so others can enjoy it too. Punk hackers are here to ruin the experience for others so why give them the benefit of the doubt when hacks are suspected? Stop making it easy for these clowns! As a non-server admin I for one would be extremely happy to see server admins powers increased. I say that in full knowledge that I could be unfairly kicked & banned from a server at a future date. I also know I could appeal such an action but would probably just go find another server. In other words, it wouldnt bother me at all. Set up a few servers where the admins have 100% control over kicks & bans, with a strict 'no-hacks' policy & just watch how busy that server gets. I suspect it would be FULL 24/7. I know it would be my first choice. As it stands, I have to put up with scumbag hackers that ruin my gaming experience, though I did nothing wrong. Wheres the justice in that? And how does that enhance my gaming experience Rocket?

Keep hitting 'esc' and each time the mouse (which moves to the left of the screen) will be active for a split second. Keep moving the mouse a fraction closer to the 'respawn' button each time you do this until its over it. The next time you hit 'esc' click 'respawn' the split second it lights up.

Apparently if the weapon doesnt have an icon its hacked. And yes you CAN be banned for using weapons hacked in.

A .45 in real life is a man stopper. In Dayz it just makes a lot of noise. Without an AR your pretty well fucked (and even then you better have lots of ammo).

I had this infection once & fucking died from it. I then caught this 'super-rare' disease again, a few days later, but this time I had some antibiotics I had found on a dead player :)

Ive noticed anew bug today in that after killing 4 animals i was unable to take the meat? Eventually with 2 of them, through persistence in constantly wandering around the animals & pointing at them I eventually got the gear icon with the circle but with 2 of them I just gave up. Fix?

Well in that case I agree they should be blacklisted. I was of the impression from this thread that admins were totally powerless in kicking/banning hacks.

Same thing happened to a friend of mine the other day and he too rejoined at nw airfield so it seems that's somehow part of the exploit.

However admins should be able to ban players too if they see blatant hacking. The more people we have policing this sort of crap the better. Sure, some players may be unfairly banned in the process but that's a small price to pay for the good of the community. And if a player is unfairly banned there's always other servers. As long as he's doing the right thing it's unlikely he will be banned again.

This sort of shit is ruining the game. Why can't the assholes that do this be detected and banned?

This has since worked ok for me on another server. Im wondering if it some sort of 'lag' issue as when I was having the issue it did eventually give me the option but only after persisting & trying for 2 minutes or so?
