Cherno always gives me an adrenalin rush. Especially when I'm shopping in the supermarket.

Kinda matches my M4 minus SD mags (I found 2 x clips of Stanag but thats not sufficient apparently) & yesterday I found my 2nd downed chopper. Found some meat, epi pen & a can of sardines next to it none of which I needed.

$30 or so for hours & hours of fun? Hell, Im still playing weeks after I started.

Same has been happening to me regularly last couple of days. I find if I abort tho then try again or even another server suddenly my gears back. Weird.

So wandering around Cherno the last few days I've seen a heli what appears and sounds to be bombing buildings to the point at least 1 building was completely levelled. I then noticed a building next to it destroyed inside and cracking on the outside. Another building on the other side of the city was half destroyed and I came across a couple of farms totally destroyed inside with no loot. In fact most of the buildings had no loot and/or were cordoned off with wire. So what's going on here? Hax?

Global chat can sometimes be amusing and entertaining so yea bring it back. But make it so you can turn it off if it gets annoying.

You should be able to make a splint for a broken leg too. Yea a splint. Provided of course you have at least some wood and maybe a hatchet (to harvest the wood). You cant do much with a broken leg apart from respawn.

When I first started playing this game I would try and co-op with other players. Occasionally my trusting nature would lead to my demise but other times the game was good fun. Since the removal of the bandit skins more often than not other players would try to kill me - for no reason at all. The game has now got to the stage where I take the same approach. 'Shoot on sight' is my philosophy. Trust another player & die. I had 3 murders yesterday before I was killed. Btw, the players I killed werent doing anything wrong. Such is the current state of the game. Bringing back bandit skins may not be the answer but something certainly needs to be done to change this attitude among most players.

Having traversed Cherno with no gun & lived I left the town stocked up only to have a zombie break one of my bones. Now I have to crawl all the way back into Cherno in the hope of finding morphine that I never found 1 stick of traversing the whole city earlier. Can we please have either more morphine loot or some way of making a splint? kthxbye

Yea was at NW airfield yesterday and ended up with a broken leg. But do you think I could find morphine in the barracks, hangar, or control tower? Nooooooooooooo Plenty of empty cans tho..

The way the game is now (since they removed the bandit skin) you basically wont live very long playing on your own. Everyone shoots everyone. The only way to progress in the game is to team up. Luckily I know 2 players who have a shitload of gear that Im teaming up with today.

Was playing last night ok after patching to 93965 then get this error this morning but I havent changed a thing? WTF?

So who's still having 'fun' playing this game with the latest update? Anyone?

What I have found is if I install the 1.60.93825 patch all is fine but if I run the Worrom 1.6 updater I get a message that I require 1.60.93825 so it seems the updater is actually rolling me back. Hmm just noticed the updater URL was showing as http://worrom.com/dayzupdater/DAYZ_1_7_1_1.txt so changed it to http://cdn.armafiles.info/ & trying again..

Too many fucking 'heroes' on this forum that like to think its cool to run around naked w/o a weapon amongst a gazillion zombies. Next they will be suggesting we spawn in the middle of the ocean with broken legs and no kit. Dont get me wrong, I like some of the things implemented since I started playing the game a couple mths ago like better interface & gear management but overall the games not as good as it used to be. Making the game harder is just retarded. It was easy enough to die as it was before the changes. The dev's need to stop listening to the fucking 'community' & do what they think is best like they used to.

lol problem is I think the dev's are listening to much to some people on this forum rather than developing the game as they see fit. It happens with all good games. Take for example BF2. It was a great game when it was released. Sure, it wasnt perfect, and it did need a patch to fix a few minor issues but all in all it was a great game. But as the dev's listened to the 'community' they released more patches to fix shit but they had to nerf stuff and 'balance' shit and slowly but surely they fucked it up to the point no-one wanted to play it anymore. Its like I read somewhere here that they decided to remove weapons from your original kit to make things more challenging, and that 'most people' here voted for it. Thing is I don't recall seeing a vote on it so who are these 'most people'? Are they people that just happened to be on the forums when the question was raised? Are they people with multiple accounts that voted multiple times for it? Polls can be rigged just like elections can in real life. Like my previous example with BF2, apparently 'most people' voted for the US jets to be nerfed because they were too powerful against the MIG's and then the balance went the other way to the point no-one wanted to fly a US jet though in my opinion they were fine left alone as they were. And most people I spoke to were of the same opinion they were fine as they were so who were these people that voted for the nerf?
