I mostly use landscape or features to judge where I am and try to pinpoint myself on the map. I find this to be much more "survivalist" if you will. -

Particularly just wandering around seeing what the game has to offer co-op wise rather than just solo. Interested in engaging in legit PvP not picking off helpless coasters. I am currently located on Green Mountain at the top of the tower. I have some gear to offer if you are in need badly. I play generally around 8:30/9:00 pm EST (weekends can vary) until whenever i start nodding off. Add me on steam - my forum name is my steam account name.

I like to have a plan/goal in mind in order to keep the game interesting. I am married and have a child now so i can't play too much - but a generous ammount to keep me active, but I like to just set way points and make my way through towns seeing what I can gather (moving north). Thats pretty much it, it keeps me engaged and I have little to no desire to off other survivors or really aggro zombies. The sneaky element is quite fun in and of itself

Well, I was doing the same and got close to a deer stand, it was raining, zombies lurking everywhere, branches rustling and my wife whispered to me from the bedroom door (scrred the piss out of me).
