Why we need spawn zone restrictions

Are there any servers that have a compressed cycle? I've been thinking of starting up a server of my own, and tweaking a few things.. one of those things being compressed time, maybe 3-5hr full cycle. Or is it just not possible in alpha or with this map?

Why we need spawn zone restrictions

It happens too often. You can clearly identify the people who do it simply because they can't resist making sub-level troll taunts in side chat. "umad bro" "trololol", etc. It's annoying, and disheartening this even exists in Arma 2. You think the barrier for entry would deter this species of human. -
This shouldn't be a problem for people that become "accidental bandits", due to self-defense or what have you, or just those moments we're not proud of.. because you can get your humanity back pretty fast. But what people here are asking for, is "I want to go on a murder spree all night, but when I die.. I want it to reset". No, I don't think that's a good idea.

Why does hardly anyone go north??

Because it takes forever, and a lot of people die trying to get initial supplies. Seriously, it's a long walk. Especially if you don't have a map or compass (and you're not cheating with out-of-game references). -
I really love the concept of this mod, and I hope to see what the future holds for it. However, just one major, glaring problem. The community. People are playing this like it's a glorified deathmatch. Really, it's frustrating, I don't want to play deathmatch and "Elektro bandit, hide and seek champions". There needs to be better incentive to move away from these hot spots, more stuff to do, make transport more viable, but not common.. just more than it is. Something. It's being squandered by this style of play.
