Hasn't happened to me. I have had kills register the instant after an enemy logs off and their body has disappeared though. -

I like the new zombie rage, it necessitates quiet. People would be a lot less upset with it if the clipping through walls was not an issue. I've had zombies aggro from 150m while crouch running in grass. If you can't safely crouch run within 150m then you be as well just run the whole time and shake off zombies in buildings/round corners. They also seem to have a stronger herd mentality. Firing a gun in a town will draw every zombie onto you and away from other players. I've seen Elektro almost totally barren of zombies except for 20 or so huddled around a dead players body at times. -

I was just in Elektro and surprised by the lack of zombies. I get to my destination - the Hospital - and fill up with supplies. As I moved to the Southern end of the building I hear an ungodly noise, it sounds like a whole pack of zombies immediately outside at the back of the building. I leave by the North end and walk round to see what it was. Yeap, 20-30 zombies stood together, presumably over a body. I go to the police station and there are player bodies EVERYWHERE, I'm talking about 12-15 in or around the station. I clear the place and there isn't a soul inside. Okay I think, maybe it's a glitch and bodies aren't despawning because there were no zombie bodies at all and these bodies are fully geared. I can't imagine it was a gunfight in which everyone died, but it is possible. Then I hear someone shooting and it's close, I retreat and see that the zombies have moved from their pack at the back of the hospital. So I climb up to see if I can spot the shooter. I'm up there for a couple minutes, no sign. Then a new player climbs up the ladder behind me, starts to heal himself and 'thwack-boom' gets sniped. I see the sniper now on the grassy knoll, somehow he hasn't spotted me on the roof but it's only a matter of time. Zombies are closing in from all sides on him, I only have an AKM so I zero in and wait until he's distracted by the zombies before I start shooting. Unfortunately he gets up and sprints down the hill and I can't get a clear shot. Damn. I anticipate the two players going into the police station, a couple minutes later one appears on the roof. I zero in and shoot, he's unconscious. But I cant get another bullet in to him where he's fallen on the roof. Then I see the other one inside, second floor looking right at me through the glass. I send a few his way before hitting the deck. He fires back - 'BOOM' - he misses, so he's the sniper. Then shit gets real: around 40 zombies from all over town descend on the police station. He cannot get out of the building because I have him pinned. As the zombies come up the stairs and get close he starts shooting them with his pistol. This aggros yet more zombie from even further afield, somehow. Then the guy on the roof regains consciousness but I don't have a shot. He then starts shooting the zombies while pinned down, with his Enfield! 60 zombies I estimate are surrounding the police station, entering from all sides. Somehow the sniper survives. No such luck for the bloke on the roof. A few minutes pass, I'm waiting out the guy on the second floor, finally he walks up onto the roof and starts looting the bodies up there. My AKM has different ideas, 4 rounds and he's dead. Bear in mind I had seen almost no zombies before I got to the middle of Elektro and then I found them all huddled together in a pack. Other zombies spawned only once people started shooting. Except the 5 rounds I fired from the roof of the hospital aggrod zero zombies on me. I have never seen so many zombies attack like that. I'm kicking myself for not screenshotting it really. I don't know if it's a bug or a change - but I kind of like it it really necessitates quiet. -
No. The 1911 now deals 1389 damage per hit and players have a maximum of 12000 life, so 9 shots (1+ clips) to centre mass are required to kill a player (ignoring bleeding). I've personally a whole clip from an 1911 into another player and they have lived.

I've been running around the South coast with an ALICE Pack full of car parts trying to find a vehicle, to no luck. In fact I've never found a reparable vehicle, ever. How often do vehicles spawn? Where is the best place to find them? Failing that, the best place to 'borrow' one from?(I promise I'll put it back.....)

I came out of a barn the other day and got shot by some noob with a crossbow almost point blank (took a few thousand off in blood pressure don't remember exactly how much). I hit him with a full clip from my m1911 and then 3 more from the next mag as he ran directly away from me into the other barn. He should be dead but he lived on and what's more all the zombies in the vicinity make a bee-line for me. Crossbow/melee weapons are now formidable weapons.

Question: If you have not updated your ARMA II game files do you still deal the original damage with weapons? Or do the servers control damage, or does the latest ARMA II beta 'patch' also include the weapon nerfs?

I was on server UK6 today and as I walked into a barn I was teleported to the roof and turned into a goat. A few minutes of being a farm animal later I received an error message 'invalid vehicle' or somesuch and then died. As soon as that happened the chat room exploded and it turned out that the same thing had happened to a whole bunch of folks. What the FUCK are you talking about? I always presumed that was why you were given a flashlight to begin with. Warm up some beans, pour them in your empty flashlight and you've got an impromptu Fleshlight. You're just adding protein. You're already fucking those goats before you roast them over an open fire anyway, it's really not that different. The male to female ratio in Chernarus is ridiculous. No wonder they all became flesh-eating zombies.

A city definitely makes sense, especially with rocket talking about underground bases. Running about in the sewers and underground train tunnels is definitely the way to go in a zombie apocalypse. -

Zombies generally seem to be really glitchy just now, clipping through every damn thing. I wonder if it's them and not the pistols.

I know what you are saying. A fence post or brick would be nice to smack zombies off of you temporarily, possibly break their bones or knock them out. That's how shit would go down in real life.
