I use third person to see around shit, especially in cities, first person is better for running outside of cities and fighting though. Features are not exploits, deal with it. Headtracking does look pretty slick I'd like to try it sometime.

I mainly use it or trolling new players. Nothing like spotting a survivor in Elektro getting as close as you can and then firing in their general direction (which is all you could hope for with that thing anyway), for best effect use while wearing a Ghillie suit. I had two guys with AKM's freaking out in the fire station yesterday thinking I was laying down some kind of insane sniper fire on them, listened to the whole thing over direct coms. Pure comedy gold.

Two guys came running towards the supermarket I was behind in Cherno dressed in what looked like(it was just getting dark) full camo, including military helmets. Are helmets legit? I've never seen someone in camo before and the DayZ wiki entry for camo clothing only has a picture of a dude without a helmet.

I wonder if there are a bunch of pissed off people tired of getting sniped who went out and started scripting just to kill snipers. The last two times I've been on sniper hill in Elektro (passing through to take out snipers who may be targeting the fire station on my way there) I have been shot from close behind despite using extreme caution. I've also heard a lot less sniping on the servers I regularly play on recently... Of course snipers are usually well decked out so killing them would cause maximum griefing and therefore maximum boners for skiddies.

If They shoot at me They're wearing a bandit skin I see them shooting at a non-bandit Then I will shoot at them, but not always. Sometimes I'll just evade them if they're more numerous then me or have a large strategic advantage.

OP you start by saying the number one problem is not glitches or bugs and end by saying the problem is glitches and bugs less then 200 words later. I'm not entirely sure what you expect us to discuss.

Someone posted a video the other day of some kid trying to teach others how to script in DayZ. It was hilarious. First the kid teleports himself to the NW airfield, there he spawns all manner of vehicles all over the place, he makes himself invisible, spawns a weapon crate and gives himself unlimited ammo. Then he actually tries to shoot a zombie - he takes out his AS50 and spams the trigger. He misses about 20 rounds then says "oh well i guess my zeroing is off", spawns a chopper and is then kicked and banned. Sounds like OP's friend had practically the exact same experience, equally hilarious.

Definitely wasn't zombies. They turned a corner and came running from the railway station down to the supermarket in the middle of the road, aggroing zombies all over the place. Then I hear one of them tell the other over direct voicecoms "there's a guy at the supermarket", I'm not sure how he could've seen me as I was behind the steps using 3rd person to see what was aggroing everything but maybe he had seen me when I was inside. He tells me "do not shoot, stay where you are", well fuck that, I booked towards the church. I hear the same guy yelling to someone else where I am and what direction I started running, then I hear a fucking vehicle coming after me! I made it out of reach of their voicecoms and audible range of their vehicle expecting to be teleported at any moment. But it never happened. Which is weird. Maybe they were only 'partial scripters' or they found the clothes on scripter bodies and kept it. I was certain that a scripter would be so annoyed by one guy evading a team of them and vehicles that they would nuke the server or something. I went to the roof of the hospital by the military tents thinking they might stop off their and I could get a screenshot but they never did.

WPA should be fine as long as the password isn't just a word or number - longer is always better and numbers, capitals, other characters mixed in is best. You could try putting a MAC filter on it but MACs can be spoofed anyway, as long as you have a decent password you should be fine. Make sure you don't have a DMZ running. If not maybe you have a virus or rogue app on your iPhone? Where did you get the 7GB number your provider? Your router?

7GB a day sounds way to high. WEP is completely broken though it makes you an obvious target, possibly the 'old people' who live near you had someone else setup their internet for them and they just added them too your network. Most devices support WPA at least, WPA/WPA2 with AES encryption is what you want, also use a long ass random password. edit: 7gb in a few hours is definitely not dayz alone
