Ah ok, thanks that makes sense. Then according to this page (and rocket's comment) the only way two ways to receive a global ban is to try to bypass Battleye or to run software which steals your key and then have your key used by someone attempting to bypass Battleye. -

Morality is that code of behaviour which comes from being human. What happens in gaming is that you can choose to carry over conforming to that code of morals (role-playing) or you can choose to disregard them because you are acting in a fictional reality. So just like you say there are two different types of game that people are playing. -
These last couple days I've been keeping a log of my movements across a particular server on a map. It looks like this: Where I've been and had eyes on I airbrush blue. As you can see I started in the South-West and ran up the side of the map. A few of the blue paths are from memory though. The major thing that I've omitted in case somebody identifies the server and removes them are the tents/camps that I've found along the way which I mark with a coloured square depending on the value of loot inside. I've found roughly 7 tents with high quality loot, another 3 with low quality loot and about 12 abandoned tents. Slightly disappointed with those results considering the time I've put in but making a permanent record like this does have advantages: Regear faster after a respawn Quicker access to consumables in an emergency Interpolating other players travel routes helps decide the best place to put my camp Notice vehicle/camp location patterns which may transfer to other servers This is my favourite server and with the fix to tents and vehicles I'd like to make it my home. Unfortunately I lost my offroad pickup and other vehicle on the night that the patch came out so this running about has been primarily looking for a new vehicle. I haven't seen any yet, so I'm beginning to think either a scripter teleported them all to an island/the sea or they are being hoarded off map. It's taking forever running about on foot. Does anybody else keep a log like this? Also has anybody got any suggestions on where I should look next? (that isn't off map, fuck doing that on foot)

Good idea OP but I think the unarmed combat should take precedence over this; punching, kicking, choke hold til they pass out and most importantly the deadly tickle.

I'd definitely like to see more low end weapons like .22s which require multiple hits on zombies but are quieter then the common dinnerbells. It would be fun to have the Taurus Raging Judge in the standalone too if the pistol nerf gets reversed.

One end has a little shelter on it, in there are a few loot spawns. Sometimes the items are submerged so scan the ground for the inventory icon.

It rains because you fail. Also most of the maps of Chernarus you find online, especially the topographic ones, have some kind of crop (usually arbitrary) on the north or West border. I have no idea why this is but I'm pretty sure it's a conspiracy... I've started using this map as it actually charts the full playable area (though not in topographic mode). -

How do you know where all the vehicles are?

Bring da amberlamps! I'd like if the vehicles initially spawned at random intervals over the course of say a week instead of as soon as the server goes live to give people who are not admin or friends of the admin the chance of getting them. Doubling and tripling the number of vehicles that spawn would also be worth experimenting with. A timer to make them respawn if they aren't used within 72 hours would be good too. Perhaps make fuel a lot rarer in rural areas and the north forcing people down to the more populated south to fuel up.
