    Born 75...love teamwork in games...

    I joined a clan called "DayZ Swedish Survivors" with only swedish people....So if you meet someone with the tag [DSS] and really want to stay alive just say or write " snalla doda inte mig" :) ( means please don´t kill me )




    My real name is Actually Ushiri...its kinda lame how I got it...1997 I had a BBS on Amiga called Necronomicon...and I decided to get a neat name that no users I´ve seen had...and then I made it up :D....since then my gaming name has been Ushiri...later on in 2001 I started to play Counterstrike and started up a clan called [AMiGA] and played on internetcafés, and after a while when we played matches with other clans some started to call me Ushiri in IRL...and when I did Technorelated artwork and other stuff like in boardgaming projects I called myself Ushiri.

    So in 2008 I think I got a wack in the head and actually took Ushiri as my first name. I think its cool. and NO its not pig in japanese...its spelled Ushiro :)

    I prefer to play Tactical games with pple on the net like Arma2,ArmaOA,Project reality,SWAT4. Other favorites are:
    Dark souls ( cause its so damn hard to survive in..) and of course the three very epic games with ultimate teamwork in..: Saints row 1-3 and of course a superduper Killing floor. extremly fun to coop in.

    I own the following consoles: Xbox360,Ps1,2x Nintendo DS,
    Nintendo 64, Mattel intellivision, crashed Atari 2600.

    other hobbies: weightlifting, and cruising around on my inlines and jumping all over stuff and stairs..

    Also got a cat named Monster, with one toe to much.

    I got a youtube channel named "Ushiri" where I put stuff up at sometimes...mostly in swedish.

Känns lite obehagligt, kan inte komma på vad man skulle kunna råka skriva för att det ska tolkas på något av ovanstående sätt, men läskigt uttryckt. Vid sidan om det gillar jag att ni är en grupp på 25+. Är själv 37, lirat Dayz sedans förra året men tröttnade ett tag på dayz, köpte en key till warz och märkte att det sög i sitt nuvarande läge och började igår spela på Namalsk servrar som gav tillbaka den härliga känslan av första gången på Chernarus. Är redan med i en "25+" grupp på facebook som heter "Swedish survivors" men vi är bara fyra stycken som spelar av en grupp på nio. Har ni en facebook grupp så skulle det vara fiffigare för min del. Detta är det enda forum jag sträckt mig till att använda vid sidan om facebook. Men är gärna med och lirar med er grupp via teamspeak... Spelat en del taktiska spel som flashpoint,armedassault,arma2,swat4,graw,project reality bf2&arma2. Så teamwork är min grej och hade varit kul å köra lite teamwork i dayz och eventuellt warz. :)

    fall like 2 meters onto uneven or even ground WITHOUT carrying a rifle, vest with ammo and backpack.....Then its not realistic to break legs..

    I like a globalscore, it will define the players style. I mean a player wich has survived 30 days and killed less than 50 zombies would be interesting to meet and talk to ingame I think. I think the total opposite of how you think. Just opinions :)

    Beanking: I think u are right about this, it will keep the hacking community alive. I agree with you. But if you think out of the box if there where no hackers, since the game is gonna be standalone, all hackers will be banned with their unique playerid that comes with DayZstandalone.. But I guess it would be o rewarding for pple to continue to hack. It would be good if Dayzstandalone would have some sort of battle.net crap to frag the hackers away. TRiPLE: If you mean the reward thing I agree again :). but otherwise I don´t think it would break the immersion so much, since it would just be in the list when u press "i" ingame. It will give a purpose for playing, but hey! we all have different opinions :)

    DayZ Survivor score / Ranking system The thing DayZ is missing is a Survivor score, I dont mean killscore or humanity. A score that adds these three things together: + Humanity + Kill score + Days survived = Dayz global score This will make the game more interestsing for players to continue playing. So even if u dont got any humanity and play like a bandit you could get a high score. I have asked myself, why should I continue play when there isn´t any system that keeps tracks on these things. Lonewolf score ( working name only) A score that gets higher the more days you haven´t been into a town. Every big town like: Zelenogorsk, Stary Sobor, Chernogorsk, Elektro, Solnichniy, Berezino that you visit for more than 5 minutes will put your score with minus points, Perhaps every town with a name on it. ( I don´t know how to prevent people from changing server to reset time, In this case perhaps there will be - points ticking down directly when you enter a town) So people would really try to stay out of town and live wildlife, lots of players are allready doing this, but it would be cool to see those hunters getting a score for it. Survivor bonus: Perhaps unique consumable items that you only get when you have survived per 10 days or something, or that you get 10% more blood after 10 days. stuff like that.     Just wanted to update.. I used all of the tweaks and tips on the link. I usually had 10-30fps.. I gained 40fps overall ...and with a viewdistance on 4800....when flying and with 10000 viewdistance I got 35-40fps now :D Try it out ..it worked as charm!

    Here is my specs: Operating System Windows XP Sp3 32-bit CPU Intel® Core 2 Duo CPU (dualcore) E4500 @ 2.20Ghz RAM 3,37GB (DDR 3 I think) Motherboard Asus somethin..3 years old Graphics HD5700 (1920x1080@60Hz) ATI Radeon And I have between 10-30 fps...So Im 100% that u dont need a better motherboard or cpu...just get a good graphicscard like mine. :) Also read this about optimizing DayZ & Arma https://docs.google.com/document/d/1WdZYSLzMuZx95znSdVVCjI7DCOmc4DwY9tDYyxj6Gmc/edit?pli=1

    Thanks for the help offering, but I´m sorry to say that I dont have skype. you cant tell me here? it would be for the good of all the Dayz community, since I´ve read that at least 6 other people has this problem. Thanks in advance :)

    You got something wrong then...DayZ shouldnt work to start up in single player. I really recommend that you download " Dayz Commander" and install DayZ with that one...you can also install patches easily with that one for arma2. not sure but I think its a most to use Arma Operation arrowhead to get it to work...I think its way you cant get it to work...the island it plays on is Chernarus wich belongs to Arma2..but some programming is made with armaOA..what I heard of.. It 100% work with ArmaOA ...never heard of that it only works with Arma2. But if someone knows..do correct me.

    I dont think its your internet connection or firewall..I have played Arma2 and ArmaOA since they was released and have never seen this problem before. I´m very sure its a DayZ problem. Or at least it has something to do with one of the Arma2 small patches that has been released for DayZ...OR DayZ itself.... Got same problem...but mostly after perhaps 15minutes ingame.. But in my screen I can at least see small blurry white spots on the side when it goes black...the thing you have in arma that tells you that there is people close by..

    I got exactly the same problems...other pple I play with, 4 others dont have this problem... 15 minutes ingame usually I get this error.... I think its since the last patch...it fxxking irrittating.. before the new patch I had graphic bug all over some areas from corpses or bags at Northern airfield...and when I thought it couldnt get worser...it did.

    I got the same problem. But for me its "receiving data" after I played for about 1minutes or so...then I have to ALT+F4 ... pple allways say reinstall everything...sometimes even including windows..But I think its worth a try for us to rollback the beta patch with DayZcommander and try to play without the last Dayzpatch...I think its the one who is crapping everything up...and if not...play Arma2 normal..and then try ArmaOA ...and see if the problem still persists..
