It varies from player to player. Sometimes certain windows, sometimes all, sometimes you need a specific weapon. Try everything you can. Good luck!

I think when it becomes standalone, alpha testers should get a discount or get it free. I payed money to buy Arma 2 already, I don't want to pay again (Even if I wasn't paying to buy Dayz!).

It's A MOD in ALPHA. Of course there are going to be tons of bugs and a mediocre engine.

When you get a melee weapon, press the "R" key to "Reload" it. Seriously. You need to to use it. (Not sure why lol).

The install is pretty simple, actually. If you know what your doing it's easy (watch a video or read about how to inastall it!). Just download Arma 2, and operation arrowhead (or combined operations), six launcher and updater, and the patch. As for the game itself, I bought it just for Dayz, knowing it was going to be really buggy, in alpha, and that there's a lot of people out to get you. I'm a complete noob, died many times, and I still enjoy the game. The learning curve is hard, but once you learn, it's fun. Even being a noob and running away from tons of zombies or being shot at is still part of the game. It's not supposed to be easy.

The first time I saw someone in game was when I fell off a roof and broke my leg. We both had axes, but we just looked at each other for a second and walked away (I crawled). Soon after though, when I was trying to crawl to the hospital, I was being attacked by zombies and a guy ran up and killed me with his axe.

I'm pretty shure you should at least be able to run it on minimum settings. There is direct voice chat ingame, so people near each other can talk in voice chat. There's no voice chat everyone can hear though, sorry if you wanted that.

Yeah, if I attract any Zombies, I run out of the town i'm in (if i'm in one) and find the nearest bush/cover. I then go prone into the cover and don't move. It works almost every time.
