Hyperplex is a new gaming organization that supports a variety of games such as Dota 2, Smite, Arma 3 and DayZ. We are looking to put together a group of 7-10 people, (possibly more), to play mods such as Breaking Point and Origins. This will not be a shoot on sight/bandit group. Although, I'm sure we're get our hands dirty from time to time. We will be switching to standalone when it's released. Minimum Requirements: • Must be at least 18 years old. • Have a functional microphone that is also of good quality. • Have at least a few months of general DayZ experience. • Must be an active player throughout the week. • Must be a team player. • Living in the US is preferred but not required. Was up at one of the castles on chernarus with a friend and we were about to log off the night but two hackers had other plans. Before they showed up, I remembered I had to go hide my motorcycle somewhere other than on the side of the hill...in the middle of a open field...next to a busy castle so I made my way towards it. I scoped out the area before I went down to it and saw nothing so I then got on the bike. Exactly one second after starting the engine, I get hit directly in the chest with a 203 HE round. Needless to say, the bike was a goner. However; I didn't have a scratch on me and lost no blood. I then got off the bike and ran back into the castle where my friend was so we could figure out what just happened. After being turned into a bottle rocket and shot into skys, we realized something rather hacktastic happened so we laughed it off because we lost our m4 holo's, m107's, as50's and other end game gear. Ol well. Good times.

I remember from an old post of Rocket's, he said the ragdolls would be "basic". So I would expect some type of ragdoll physics.

Also you will need a fast hard drive as well. If you have a slow 5400RPM or even a 7200RPM HDD...You're gonna have a mediocre time. An SSD will boost the performance in most games, especially DayZ/Arma 2.

Yeah you can't really make the zombies any more complex than they already are especially with all the bugs. Meaning that upping the infection rate and knocking down doors and all the other things we WANT them to do, it isn't really possible in the mod. Standalone however, different story. You have to consider how hard of a toll zombies take on a server. Each zombie has complex bone structures that eat away at your performance each time one spawns. In the standalone, it's been talked about on how they are removing all of those bones and making them into a simple character model with a low baring on FPS performance. This means we can have huge packs roaming around and doing all the cool zombie things we want (at least some of it). And of course they won't be so hard to hit because they won't look like Adrian Peterson running at you full speed dodging all your bullets with his sick juke moves. Upping the infection rates and other things to make things harder on the players sounds nice but it might be a bit discouraging after awhile. Average life would drop around 30 minutes I'm sure.

Well if your hard drive is slow like a typical laptop HDD is then that's quite an issue for a game like Arma 2/DayZ. They are both CPU/HDD heavy and it looks like your CPU and HDD are lacking. Dual graphic cards will only get you so far. Your RAM is fine at 8GB. Consider looking into what your HDD clocks at and give us an update.

From my experience, the amount of hacking has been greatly reduced. I get teleported rarely and I haven't run into any godmode hacks so that's good. The most frustrating thing would have to be the combat logging. Although they've added a system to help combat that, it isn't perfect. However, it's a good time to play. There are countless private hive servers to choose from with about 10 maps. I'd give it a try.
