Duping... Lol This guy Silverline is mad because I shot him in the head for being whinny. There are about 12 to 14 active members who do lots of loot cycling for clan-on-clan pvp. You brought people around after you were told not to and then you whined about it being confronted about it, so I put an end to you. So if GUID spoofing is an issue that can't be fixed, why is the game even being allowed to run so that hackers can take peoples hard earned money by getting their ability to play their game taken away by sociopaths. Since Battleye does not give summaries for the ban issue, how do we know that people have not been wrongfully global banned?From what I've found reading the hacker forums, a hacker can take you GUID and use it. If they use it and inject a cheat without bypassing battleye, that account GUID is instantly banned. So then two people are then kicked/banned globally, but all the hacker has to do is reastart their game and they are back to using their original GUID, While the client who had their GUID used illegally losses their copy of Arma2. So, without summaries comming from BE as to the issue of the ban, I'm looking into a class action to have those summaries, based on logs, made public. Because in the past other anti-cheat faulse positives and hickups have had people lose their games, but the companies involved in the protocol do extensive resaerch to understand their issues and report them back to the comunity. I'm going to assume that an anti-cheat company that does not share summaries of bans has broken protocols to hide. So for that, I'm looking into a class action to have these accounts of hacks made public so that we may understand if BE is just having identity issues based on client-to-client script injection(which are noticed in the logs), or if it is truly a broken service. Why I'm doing this. I now know 5 people who have been GUID banned and they don't have enough knowledge to be able to do such things. And each of them received their global ban while defending a camp or attacking other groups. If the standalone is C++ with important files run client side, I'm staying away from DayZ. I've not seen any writing on what engine they are moving to, which makes me concerned for my money! More to come... Now, all the children and tweenies can talk all the shit they want!

Tell us something new. Every time a admin bans someone their excuse is, "we have hackers". Well, the game is riddled with hackers because battleye seems to be bypassable. People get locally banned on many servers with shitty administration who don't know how to read the logs or follow the rules set by the heirarchy. And when someone fucks up their game, they have some tools to get the upper hand, tools their visitors don't get. This is why there should be no local administrations for this game, to prevent this type of exploiting.I've been reading the hackers forums to figure some things out. One of those things I discovered recently is the ability to use another clients GUID. Once you have another players GUID, you can use it while dropping an box/items/vehicle without bypassing battleye. Resulting in an instant global ban of the GUID. The hacker can then restart their game and will be back to using their original GUID they had before they stole the other clients GUID. I'm not proficient is C++, or whatever this is wrote from, but after reading a bunch of things, it's really all there for one to copy, paste and run. I've had to wonder why Battleye does not give summaries of what the banned reasoning is, cause it seems their system does not work properly.

This month will be so bad with hacking, it's going to give the standalone a bad rep and hurt its sales. Cunts got to ruin everything for everyone.

This game should have no local server admins in the standalone.

... August 2, 2012; 4:30-50am PST. US-673 =HOG= Server. Gamertag; Bubba Zanetti After looting went back to camp north of lake to secure goods. While putting loot in tents I heard a motor cycle approach. The two people got off their bike and proceeded to check my teams camp while I laid under a near by tree waiting for the right time to shoot. I got both of them in my sights and opened fire. I strike one down, but the other runs over a raised grade in the ground and looks as if he lays down. I flank right, to get a position to see around the small hill the person has gone behind. When I get my veiw the person is gone. So I run to the position and then move to his right, but he can not be found. I looked for ten minutes and assumed the player disconnected. So I go back to his friends body to read the name and cause of death, but the body is gone. I go over to the motorcycle they came in on and disable it by shooting the front tire so no-one could take off with it easily after I log out. I fired a few more shots in the direction of the player who DC'ed just to scare him if he is lurking. After five more minutes of waiting I go back to securing my loot. The last thing I have to do before I log out so the team has food and extra ammunitions when they come in next play session. While I'm moving the loot from my truck into the tents I'm hit with a "Global Ban ae92". WTF? So I can't tell if I got banned via knowledgeable hackers, banned buy an admin of "673 =HOG="(which non of them were in the game server or on their vent at the time) or if I got banned by Battleye for no ****ing reason. I google "Battleye Global Ban ae92" and it turns up nothing. Well, if I can't get my ban lifted, goodbye Dayz, goodbye Arma2, it was fun... But I wont spend another dime for a game were hackers or faulty protocols take my money and leave me out without my money or my fun. My friends will be sad too! I sent my support ticket to Battleye. Will update.

I originally bought this game to play in the United Operations servers and did so for a year before DayZ beta. Now I can't even play on my Arma2 because of this. When I bought this game, I payed around $50 USD for it. I feel like that may have just been robbed from me.

Here's to the cowards at US-753-Seattle(IP 216.244.75.170:2312) They banned me and two of my team-mates so they could take the gear from our camp, just because I was tired of their selfishness and lack of gratitude. See, I used to play with the admins; aramec, cookiestealer and mautobu. That was until I told them they had to ask for gear that the rest of the team was looting and risking their asses for. They would come, take what gear they wanted and then would just go off and die, a little too quickly. Well, we got tired of their taking the gear and losing it and not showing anybody gratitude for our work getting the gear. So when I confront them on it and tell them they have to ask for gear since they are taking and not helping bring more back to base; cookiestealer, in retaliation, instantly bans me for talking about blowing up the gear that we would lose with the server shutdown-that Aramec stated was going to happen the night before-and for stating how I wanted to put a bullet in the head of his friends avatar for being a jackass. Now former admin of US-753-Seattle(Toecutter), my friend China Girl(we live in the same city) and a person that was not even involved with what was going on, he just happen to have been in the wrong TS channel at the wrong time. His name is Zack. This is all happening while 5 other team-mates are in the field gathering more supplies. Zack asked them to clarify the ban and they told him it was because he was with us. To a degree, he was with us, he is part of the group who were playing with the admins(aramec, cookiestealer, mautobu, Toecutter[self]), but he was not the one who told the other admins they have to ask for gear, he had no idea it was going to happen. That was me that brought up the issue and no-one knew I was going to say it. So the admin cookiestealer banned everyone in the channel and from the game server for 'making threats agianst an avatar', that belonged to his friend. Yeah, I take the game seriously, but I wouldn't ban anyone if they couldn't understand or agree with my play style. I would simply talk to them like a man and if we couldn't come to an agreement/understanding, to move along. I kick people out of the server manually if they have been in the lobby for more then 10 minutes. If whatever you may do takes more than 10 minutes, you should turn your PC off to conserve power for future generations! 1st world problems.

Fellow server admins and host; I have a question. How does one set up the server so names-tags are noticeable using spacebar/scrollwheel, but not noticeable when scanning the environment? What I observed; after the corrupted memory error stopped appearing for me 'in game' server seattle 136, BErcon stopped responding to "master server(2)". Once "Corrupted Memeory Error #0" stopped, ingame server text in red, reported a failed battleye update attempt to receive battleye 1.158. Was this a failed attempt at updating battleye, by battleye?
