Does the abuse even matter that much? They are advertising that the server is no-pvp which is against the rules. They should be warned and then disconnected from the hive if they don't comply.

Gonna bump this to the top. Saw some crazy banning going on tonight. There was maybe 5+ players banned within a 10min window for no apparent reason. Someone on there said something to the degree of "there's no one left to worry about unless BiNi is gonna shoot at us." I jokingly responded "I'll rape your face." One dude laughed in sidechat and said I like your style. Then someone else asked if anyone knew who I was and 10 seconds later I was then banned for "foul language." This server needs to be shut down. They are in violation of multiple rules and the admin/owner bans anyone and everyone for almost anything.

I started playing on v1.7.1.5 and zombies have always been much faster than me. How do you think they can try and melee you over and over when they are chasing you? They catch up to you, stop to swing, but by then you are out of range, so they run back to you (catching up to you) and swing again and the process starts again.

Hey rocket, in the previous v1.7.2.4 thread I asked about my character that had spawned in debug ocean. You said with the new changes, if I waited to login on that account once v1.7.2.4 went live, he should be ported to a safe location. It kind of half worked. I was ported to coast (Cherno I think) but I'm swimming inside the ground. I've got my gear, so I'm stoked I didn't lose it, but I can't stand up or do anything...I'm literally swimming around in the ground with my body half showing. Outside of this, I've been happy with the patch, but any idea as to how to fix this or maybe address it in the future?

Can anything be done about this or am i just boned once again by crap luck?

so i read that that the devs used to port people with this issue back to the coast and give them back their gear. they don't do that anymore? i've already lost my M4 SD and I've got 4 Ghillies suits in my backpack that I JUST traded for.

it's still bullcrap. my character had everything and 600 kills...only to die from arma glitches. this is the stuff that the devs should be focusing on, not adding dogs.

of course. i disconnected immediately and changed servers and it's the same. i look to be like a mile from the coast...i can just barely make out the shoreline.

I've got 2 accounts that I switch back and forth (change the cd key in the registry). Starting tonight, my 2nd account just gets stuck in the loading screen. Before tonight it had been working fine. If i swap the cd key back to my 1st account it loads fine. I read somewhere that playerIDs can get corrupt or something along those lines? I'm really not sure what is causing this, but it's not my install since my 1st account works perfect. Any ideas?

do you mean the battleye stuff in the left corner? if so, i've verified that i am for sure not banned. sometimes it pops up with the guid like it's supposed to. other times it just hangs.

last bump before i put a ticket in.

i've been playing with it a little more and sometimes i do get the 2nd like that shows a GUID so i'm pretty sure i'm not banned. i'd really like a dev/moderator that knows anything about the playerID corruption stuff to chime in...if that might be part of the issue.

Lots of people own 2accounts. Its no different than buying 2 diablo/wow/mmo accounts. What is suspicious about it?

Is there some sort of log that would show that its not connecting due to a ban? I use the 2nd account as a safe way to store some extra gear but up until last night i had been using it to search for crash sites. I havent done anything to deserve a ban so im hesitant to think that is the issue.

when i try and join a server, the battleye info pops up for a split second. i only see one line (usually there is two, so maybe it's something to do with battleye?). if i switch accounts, battleye works fine even though i changed nothing.

100% sure. I've relogged back into my 2nd steam account, ran Arma/OA and doublechecked the hex keys and even made a new .reg file and the problem persists. If i switch to my main account it joins on the first try every time.
