I cant recall the last time i died to a legit player. I died to zombies a few times, been a while tho. I stay away from civilization and just build a stupid little campsite that gets looted :)

You might want to double check that laptop gpu. A laptop could have an amazing card, but still be inferior to and old pc gpu. Regardless of what people said a few years ago, laptops are not for hardcore gaming. Dont expect a $2000 laptop to be anywhere close to a $800 pc. The pc will blow it away

I used to subscribe to WoW just so I can login in the morning, check my mail, repost auctions, make money, then log out. Same with swg before wow and swtor after wow. Since dayz is the only game I have time to play, I've tried to do the same thing.. Sorta. Login, run to a city for random loot, bring it all back to my camp, organize my tents, log out. I guess that makes me a horder :) Sucks when it all gets looted/destroyed/bugged tho.

You apparently have no understanding of this game and/or have never played dayz. You also have minimal knowledge about computers (based on the information you chose to provide). Ok so... Run around after you spawn, find people and say friendly. If they shoot, try again. If they talk back and sound friendly, add them on Skype/mumble/team speak etc etc.. Boom. You now have a friend. Repeat until you've reached desired squad population.

As expected, you completely misunderstood the post even though I tried to explain it as simple as I could. Let me rephrase: If non-pvp servers exist, then this game cannot be classified as a pvp game. Shall I continue or will you continue to post without thinking?

Dear OP, Go back to wow please. You are the person playing in battlegrounds 24/7 whereas people like me are running the server's economy. Your ignorance is blatantly apparent because you actually took the time to write that post rather than considering the non-pvp aspect of the game. Now before you reply "this game is pvp only just like call of duty on a bigger map", why don't you take 5 minutes and write down all of the things you do when you aren't "pvping". You'll find that pvp doesn't even take 1% of your time in DayZ... Unless you login on a hill outside of Cherno, take 10 shots with your AS50, get 1 kill, then immediately log out because you're scared. Go read a book or something.

I was on a newly found dirt bike, heading to pick up a friend in stary. I was driving from our campsite where I deposited fresh loot before taking the trip to pick him up. The evac was east of stary along a dirt road. As I mashed the throttle, my squad member became visible walking on the road and I began to slow down. About 75 meters away I heard *SNAP SNAP* - I was taking fire from an unknown source at my six o'clock. I yelled to my friend, "SHOTS FIRED GET DOWN". He started to panic, shouting, "I HEAR THEM, THEY ARE BEHIND YOU". Suddenly 3 more shots *BOOM THUNK THUNK* my friend was down. I recognized the AS-50 and AKM immediately. Faced against at least 2 enemies, by myself now, I hit the throttle and began heading off road. As I weaved through a dense wooded area without crashing, more shots fired at me.. This time the AKM user was full-auto. I weaved my little dirt bike like a snowboard, narrowly missing pine trees, bushes and various other forest life. The shots continued. This is when I realized that I was within maximum range of both weapons, escape was not going to come quickly. I noticed a clearing up ahead and went for it. I hoped the forest would provide ample concealment so that I could gain some distance from these bandits. I noticed a paved road about 100m outside of the forests edge and sweat out every second it took to reach it. All the while I was taking shots *SNAP* *SNAP* I did my best to bob and weave to avoid getting hit. Once I hit the road, I mashed the turbo button and never looked back. Once I drove about 2km, i figured it was safe.. I turned off my bike and began finding a new route to pickup my fallen comrad.
