  1. The cheaters are a global issue - we can install a community ban list for you. We can update your server to 96061, but that is an ArmA version - nothing to do with the DayZ mod.   5. It was an isolated issue with your server - an identical server configuration hosted by us for another customer worked fine. This hive (private hive included) can be a gamble at times. The server was set to GMT-8 (and correctly set). The issue was an isolated software issue. Another bit of good news for you guys: I'll be training up another member of our staff to help out with the DayZ Servers - he's online later than me, so you can expect a larger window to get fast ticket replies in, the control panel should be developed faster, and server provisioning will be faster!   8. OK the story of gwbrewers server: gwbrewer ordered a server recently (with a few extra changes). It was one of our Kansas servers. We had the server set-up and given to him in a reasonable time frame (a few working days). Since it was setup, he had the server rebooted and the hive bugged out, causing him to lose a few of his in game items. This is just pure unluckiness - the mod is in alpha, and bugs are to be expected. Support ticket replies have taken up to 12 hours, but that is because the two owners live in New Zealand. When it is day time in America, it is early morning for us. 5PM for us is midnight in East Coast America, and we're not nocturnal and this is not our only job. He was also annoyed that we did not have a control panel available for use to manage his server with. This is true as the panel is in development, but we have been releasing beta access to our clients that request it (and accept that the panel may contain unforeseen bugs and issues). His experience may not have been the best (set-up time could have been faster, support tickets could have been faster), but it's nothing that terrible. To his comment about one person managing it. This is partially true - I manage all of the DayZ Servers and related support tickets, but we are not a one man operation. James Warner Vert Hosting
  9. gwbrewer: Funboy is one of our clients. Not staff. If you take a look at our business registration page, you'll see that both I and Blake Irwin own 50% shares - we're the two owners. We have other part time staff that look after some of our other aspects, but Blake and I are the main people running the business. I always respond to tickets, no matter how long it takes. We live in New Zealand (GMT+12) so day time for you is night time for us - we're not nocturnal. The private hives were setup correctly. They're just buggy. The mod is in alpha also - alpha + buggy private hives will cause a fair bit of issues. We do have clients that can attest to good service (both in DayZ Servers and the other aspects of server hosting we offer). James Warner Vert Hosting

  11. tommyTONG, That really depends. What location are you looking at? Any more servers in Kansas will require us to get in new server hardware, and then we're at the mercy of the DayZ Team to get us more server instances again.   13. Your server was one of the ones that was having a software issue - I'm working on it now. I'm working through all of the tickets - since I'm in a far away timezone (GMT+12), I'm asleep/out working while you guys are using your servers. And I'm not the only person in this business. I'm just the only one that knows how to run / administer the DayZ Servers / Windows servers. A large portion of our business is Xen PV servers running Linux (managed by the other staff). We're working as fast as possible. Doesn't help my PC decided to throw a wobbly this morning after a lightning storm last night - wasted around 2 hours fixing my Windows installation this morning.   14. Just had a load of server instances come in :) All but two servers are setup / awaiting customer reply. Those final two I'll try get going tomorrow, some software bug on one of our Kansas servers is stopping me from releasing them to our clients.   18. They didn't come through this morning as expected :/ Unluckily, DayZ server times are the same as the server clock, until we find a method of bypassing this. I'm working on getting the control panel (v1) uploaded to all the servers today. The setup time on our end is only 1 day, the long wait is for the DayZ Team (support.dayzmod.com) to whitelist the server IP and send us the instance IDs. Not yet :/ FR 160 was down for a few minutes as I was installing some software on his server to ban some of the hackers he reported to me a few hours ago. It is back up now.   22. Try pinging dayz-eu1.verthosting.com What you need to do is open a support ticket with the file dayz_*ID*.Chernarus.pbo file under the MPMissions folder of your server attached to the ticket. We can take it from there. Some of the Server Instances have come through now - those that have been waiting longest will get their servers first. James Warner Vert Hosting
  23. It is ridiculous. Not our fault though - the DayZ Staff are way behind on provisioning server IDs. We had one of our IDs that we put it around 1.5 weeks ago come through only yesterday. The month you've paid for will not start until you have the server though.
