Dude, you have my beans and I just want to put this song out their for this game. If you ever find yourself listening to this and running around a campfire then you are way to damn comfortable in this game. Or just plain to cocky of your might.

I don't really care for the debug monitor other than knowing how many zombies, people, and bandits I have killed. Can't wait to see how new ways to display blood levels and temperature are going to refined and put in. Besides, I rarely get cold because I usually make a fire every so often and sit in front of it to ensure I don't get too cold.

I like this idea but it needs some revision. Ok, if you respawn as a zombie, you will be a lone zombie and i doubt there will be enough players on smaller player count servers could use it effectively. Maybe instead you could somehow summon s group of zombies with a special command as a zombie and attack players you see out in the woods. Could be abused by spawn camping spawns as a zombie and killing new people. Just a longshot idea but hell, anything can happen. Doubt if this is even possible.

How about instead of Military AI's walking through military camps and airfield zones, instead have random groups of 5-8 soldiers roaming the world itself. Would present an actual danger in the wilderness and plains. These AI's would be all located inland so no issues of running into unarmed people on the coastlines. Some exceptions will have to be made and idea will need revision but just a base thought on how it could be.

If this were to be implemented, how about introducing 100% permanent servers that would not be dropped. In other words, specified servers that generate a single separate character for everyone. Then you can also have servers that work the way it is now.

Well, actually I believe the existing playerbase was already like this and when the new fountain of players came in, it was adopted by them through example.

If I could get to that, I would join you in your prank on whoever you deem necessary lol.

I think enough discussion on this topic. No matter how much you talk about bandits and the mindset of people, until the vast majority of the community can agree not to SoS (shoot on sight) you have no way of limiting it. End of story, accept the facts and these are it.

Removing sniper rifles is a good idea and bad idea. Pro's 1. No more people sitting at long ranges sniping people who they don't even bother looting. 2. No more spawn camping or spawn point city camping with high powered rifles. Con's 1. You can no longer support your friends in various infiltration ops (if you have any) Ex of above -attacking a enemy camp -Protecting friends from zombies - Clearing routes for friendlies This would affect mainly team based players who have friends to help but it wouldn't affect lone wolves as much.

All I know is that if you snuck up behind someone and they turned around and saw that, I am pretty sure they would be scared shitless.

Yea, it would be rather difficult to find a single server to play on all the time. This would stop server hopping altogether but at a great cost. I won't be able to play and find daytime servers at night:( if this were to be implemented.

I personally like the AKM. How much was the enfield nerfed anyway?

After going through this thread, the true issue I see isn't about other servers having these little perks. I see the concern of people jumping on to servers that give you an edge over others and collecting high value items in an easier fashion and jumping onto a far more difficult server. Those of you who keep saying this is not realistic and that isn't. The game itself is not realistic and everything cannot be 100% real life. People who keep saying everyone should play on one set of rules just don't like the fact that a player can get stuff easier and jump on to the difficult server. The only way I see this issue being resolved without losing a significant player base is by having a separate character for each degree of difficulty. As a side note from the server admin who posted earlier in this thread, the owners are in control of settings in each server. removing things such as 3rd person because, "you have a floating eye behind you is unrealistic", is pretty selfish in my opinion. Just because you bring up an excuse as to why you were killed everytime is pretty lame. I like using 3rd person and you may like using first, we all have needs and we must do our best to address the concerns of everyone and make the game target the largest group of players as possible. After all, the whole point of this game eventually becoming standalone is to make money and in order to do that, you have to address everyone.

Yea, I was in a group of 3 people and we by a dam. My friend got gunned down and me and my other buddy ran into another shack. After five minutes we hear a rocket launch and blow us and the small building up. I have found rocket ammunition as well in military areas and my buddy has found an empty rocket.

Try and present a valid argument before suggestion something. Chances are it will fall on deaf ears if you don't show why what you want should be implemented.

Rocket did state that this removal of the respawn button was not a fix but merely a test to see how it would affect gameplay. I don't like the fact you can't respawn on a whim and a lot of legitimate reasons are present as to why you should be allowed to respawn. I believe the respawn option will be brought back when and if you are allowed to select were you want to spawn.

I think the bandage should be a basic necessity on spawn even if does not follow the general idea of realism because it is quite important to have at least a single bandage on hand, especially when you start with nothing. If the backpack were to be removed on spawn, then they would have to increase the spawn rate of lower tier backpacks so it isn't entirely unfair. Far as the higher risk of infection, antibiotics should be more common if the risk was elevated.

I believe he meant that everyone is such an ass to every newbie who wants to get better at the game. Being a bit nicer and actually talking out the logic of how things are improve the game instead of yelling "stupid CoD noob, go play Modern failfare 2". These forums are not helpful for anyone considering the vast majority of it's members criticize and put down people who want to become a part of it or who try and suggest something that the majority does not like.

I enjoy using 3rd person and only use first person when shooting a gun because it feels rather awkward running around in first person. Although I do agree name tags should be removed but the cross hairs are fairly inaccurate at longer distances so I don't see why they would be removed. Then again, I don't use crosshairs so scratch what I just said about them.

Not to be rude but I don't see how this effects you and that your personal play style may not be another persons play style. We are all entitled to play the game the way we want and some wish to play on veteran servers, others may wish to play on normal servers, and some may play on recruit servers if they wish. The only valid argument against having different servers with different difficulty is looting on easier servers and jumping onto far more difficult servers. A fix could be to generate a character for each level of difficulty meaning on recruit servers you have one character, regular another, and veteran servers have a separate character for your account. Those who say some things are not realistic but there should be some flexibility on how the game is played so a larger playerbase can be established.

Could you guys have a form of decency and actually try and address his concerns instead calling him a whiny kid and other insults. I myself don't care much for vehicles as they are more of a convenience rather than an actual necessity to play the game. Still, the only true way to limit this issue to randomize spawns as suggested above to any city or town on the map itself. Actually block off the maps borders entirely (if possible) and lower the time it takes for them to re spawn. Complaining that people are hoarding is no different than multiple groups grabbing 1 vehicle and storing for there own use. To me this just sounds like your not getting what you want when you want it.

Remember when dealing with snipers, "Zig-Zag for maximum efficiency". Ahh just kidding, never tried doing it lol. Usually, you can find various kinds of AK's in firehouses and an occasional mp5 from my experience. I usually find shotguns in barns while enfields and other lower tier weapons I find in regular buildings throughout the general cities.

I found a Mp5, two mags, and a AKM in the firehouse in Elektro. Found double barrels and enfields in barns and general buildings in cities. Winchester a couple of times and I have only had the game for about 2 weeks. Handguns I have found are m19's and makarovs, haven't found any other kind though.

Actually, I have to agree with you and that is true 100%. I meant to say that people take it to far when they argue about it because not everyone plays the same. It comes down to the way you play and if the way you play is getting immersed in it, then that is a plus for the community. I myself will not kill anyone on sight unless I know they are a direct threat to me and can and will possibly kill me if they get the chance. I don't follow others but rather try and avoid heavily armed people. Usually helping someone who just started out makes ya feel just that much better.
