  1. Because the map is so huge, you don't often see people. Below are a couple suggestions to help make you feel like you're not the only survivor in the wasteland by providing ways to track, find, and communicate with survivors (even indirectly) -It'd be nice if the smoke of campfires rose to the sky, and you could see it from a distance. This would change the game because it marks prey for bandits, or helps a lone survivor to find travelling companions by a visible marker that appears natural, and doesn't clash with the feel of the game. Or, if you're feeling malicious, to draw survivors to a seemingly abandoned campsite, for an ambush. It's your choice -It would be nice if you could send smoke signals as well, with a bit of that could be dropped by survivors or bandits. Or maybe even zombies at a reduced rate, but diseases... ehhh. -You should also be able to find like spraycans so that you can create a number of fixed/custom messages/arrows on the walls. It will help provide you with a feel that you're not alone in the zombie apocalypse without explicitly showing people, adding to the atmosphere. You can leave behind things for a survivor in need by pointing to a cache, etc. -1/10 zombie corpses should last for like 15 minutes (considering the avg lifespan is 45 minutes). So you can know that people came through, and that they have weapons. -Gutted animal corpses that last a bit. Ewwwwww.... -A ham radio station would be good. Especially if you could broadcast to everyone who had or was near a radio. -dripping blood that lasts no more than 45 seconds minute a trail. this feature should only be active when you are bleeding at a significant rate. Should be a toggle-able feature to spare some people the resources. Maybe zombies can follow it to extend their awareness range? -examining a body should show how warm/cold (3 levels?) it is and if it's stiff or not. This is time based as well. That's what I got for right now. Tell me what you think, suggestions, comments, etc. I will probably add more stuff as I continue to enjoy this game.
