I would take that bet. People will always want to hunt people. No matter what game you play, people have a lust for blood, a thrill to kill, or just like to piss people off. This game was meant to have good and bad in it. All these people upset about noobs and head hunters need to create/join a guild of saviors.

Don't run around in the open. Leave snipers ALOOONE! I die every 3 minutes in his game, but have had very little trouble with snipers. They are usually in high traffic areas, they don't want to sit around in the bush waiting for one kill every three hours. If your server has sniper problems I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems, losing my beans ain't one.

A number of your rules of engagement sound very flawed. You are just a group of bandits. Thats alot of typing for, hmm I'm going to kill that guy, or he will kill me.

You encountered 2 hackers out of thousands of servers? Even the biggest games out there have exploit problems, hackers will never be gone. I've only seen a couple, just keeps the game balanced is all I can say.

Really good idea! Being able to climb a bell tower and ring it could stir up alot of trouble too.

Some people just want to watch the world burn. I love heading to Bolta airstrip fresh spawn, but seriously dude it's an airfield. He may have been thinking you will shoot him and eat his precious beans as soon as you pick something up. It's just part of the world. I would suggest trying another way in where you don't have to be prone for soo long, that way it is quicker for you to run away from shots.

More zombies would be cool. Everything else you suggested hurt my soul. I like the colour system we use for everything. The only thing I have a problem with is the inventory system. Guns should not take up soo much space, when you load rounds into a gun they should not take up a space, ect.

Choosing a city is probably a bad idea, maby a random village few venture to. All the big cities are full of loot and bandits, all you would be doing is starting a war. Getting big groups of friendlies to deal with bandits is always a good idea, keep at it.

My Beans to you sir. I'm sure as time goes on and Dean has less housekeeping to do he will be adding new useful features. I agree with a quiver idea, bolts taking up so much space is brutal. Perhaps an ammo pouch option that takes up an inventory space. Water bottles not being used up after one go. Starvation not killing you right away, just making you weaker or unable to hold your breath when shooting. I really wish guns did not take up multiple spots. The inventory is really all that I have issues with in the world.

Acquiring the gear you need is not the part of the game you have to concern yourself with. If you do come back to this post and read this give it another chance, it is only in early stages of development. Study the map. Bolta, the airfield and the towers in the army camp along the southern cost is a great destination for fresh spawn. Search stores for a tent. Get matches, axe and a knife and hide out in the bush near something you can loot. Squirrel away some goods, remember where it is, then go out live a little. Try just booking it around grab some gear and go ape shit on other players, relive some butt hurt. You always have another life to live after zomies pick your eyes out. Find a clan, make one. I miss you and want you to love us again...oh god pleeese whyyy :'(

TLDR: Many people will hold strong to be survivors. I Don't shoot to kill, I try to display friendly intention. If someone attacks me then I will express my disapproval with depleted uranium. I killed a bandit today, gave him tons of opportunity to settle down. His beans tasted of win and blood. This game needs bandits as much as survivors. Deal with it.
