No, no, and I have no idea what you are trying to say. Dayz is fun and unique. But it's not earth shattering. It's still just a fps with an apatite system. What will make or break dayz is what they decide to use for an engine and what they finally decide we need to do in the game other then fill a tent with beans. We need more then a few building that spawn tin cans and guns to make this game epic. I love the concept I am beyond words about what they are trying to do, I can't wait to see a more polished alpha/beta for the stand alone.

The last I have checked, the only thing that has been said about the stand alone, is that there will be a stand alone. We don't know what engine, or when they plan to release anything. We don't know they are going to use the new Arma 3 engine. I would not be surprised if they use a pimped out version of the arma 2 engine, so they have plenty of time to work with the arma 3 engine if they get an ok to make a second dayz.

Perhaps, I never have problems with people logging in the midst of combat. So I have to disagree with you. But if it is such a problem for people it's good you guys are trying to think of solutions. somehow I think hackers could find a way around it. So you would always have some people doing it. Even if you did make a 15 minute wait I think people would still do it.

15 minutes? What happens if you get disconnected, or the server you log onto is bad and you want to try another. I think people get way to butt hurt not being able to loot peoples beans. It's not that hard collecting gear. Most of the ideas people have to deal with hacking or griefing just hurts honest players that want to be left alone.

Bad Idea is bad. Good suggestion though, hope it never happens. Does this mean, that nobody can loot your body, or just you? That would not work in my opinion, if others can find and loot the body why not you?

I've seen one of those crates before, it had 3 npc's prone on the ground around it. Very strange. It had a ton of items in it, every item available in the game plus some not, like a generator. How can people spawn this stuff? Is there really no way to prevent it?

Make a private hive, from what I have read the dayz dev's don't seem to concerned about server integrity. I can't really blame them, they have a stand alone to build.

Thats too bad, thanks for the response. I would highly recommend it. The server I play on has it. If you are worried about people voice chatting over it, the server I play on does not have an issue with clear rules and effective moderating. Even without it, we get by just fine. Rocket made a post recently saying that there is nothing that can be done on the dayz side of things about bans from battle eye or server side. I don't know what else to tell you other then to get on battle eyes case. Good luck.
