I would like to see 9mm pistols and stuff, of course it should still be rare, but there are plenty of people keeping a weapon in their home. not too unusual to have a gun at home in most countries. small firearms should spawn rarely. I also wonder where they are going to let bows and arrows spawn or will they be craftable only?

I travel between neaf and nwaf. Trying to stalk people and make some friends. Also I always find stuff I can exchange with my current gear. Better weapon, better magazines. Lure for cases to have even more items to carry around. Change clothes to the style I want, which also changes occasionally. Atm I prefer the sheriff look. Go hunt some bandits. Whatever suits your needs. What I am even more worried about than losing my stuff is losing my char. My blood type is "0-".

a workaround for this would be if you can pick up the item the dot would appear. but this vicinity problem has been a problem since the mod. there was a time you could pick up items through walls. now we have items that you just can't pick up without luring around it like an idiot. I simply leave them where they are and don't bother too much.

not utterly true, experimental has hardcore servers,too. so basically 4 characters.

I suppose you guys play on regular servers. Just play on the hardcore ones. Different Hives. Or try the experimental version.

The dot is confusing. Differs from 3rd person to 1st and also compared to aiming down the sights. All in for removing that thing :thumbsup:

It's mostly trial and error but there are guides on regenerating blood, what to keep and what not to keep etc. pp. Sun has no effect as of now. Rain has no effect as of now. Being wet will make you ill more easily in the future. Medical items you definetly want to keep are: blood bag starter iv bandages saline bags blood test kit morphine auto-injector ephinedrine defibrilator (if you run around with a friend) maybe alcohol tincture to force feed it to others (don't drink it unless you want to die) syringe to test the bloodtype (but blood test can also be used directly or on blood bags) charcoal tabs (should help with food poisoning, not too sure if it's implemented yet) hope this helps a little

The trees are my best friends to log out. Those unforseen server restarts can suck though. A little message would help a lot. E.g 1 minute till server restart.

well that's a con, but a big pro for me is you can run up stairs this way which you have to walk up slowly normaly. but psssht pro-tip ;-) edit: also works with compass and other stuff

*cough* really, I don't want to "rage" or anything, seen your thread today. Started playing and gathering stuff. Built a little camp, invited some friends. Just a few minutes ago the server goes offline without a warning and as I want to reconnect it says it's a dayz epoch server? Also I can't connect, because I haven't epoch installed. I also guess all my stuff is gone? Been playing the whole day. You can't be serious about that. The server was running smooth and people started to feel like they found a new home. No shitty mods, plain and good old vanilla style. Really this is not how to treat players. Thanks for wasting my time! *cough cough*

Bumpedy Bump! :beans: The server is awesome and worth a try :thumbsup: . A LOT of additional buildings, most of them just fit right in! But some are not placed very well, in terms of tactic, spots, etc pp, compared to other buildings. NEAF and NWAF and some towns feel alot more 'realistic' now, but sometimes I feel like there are too many barracks in one location :| . Besides that it's a great setup for those who like the veteran difficulty. Zeds knock you off your feet quite often. No 3rd person, so no peeking around corners without being seen. Streetlights is a very good addition since nights can be tough and pretty dark. It also gives more of a realstic feel. Still others like the light too, so be carefull ;) - Autorefuel is not much of 'hardcore', but I'm ok with that since Zeds can hear you refill from pretty far away and makes refueling a single huey pretty exhausting. There is still alot of shiny stuff to get. Some vehicles in Stary Sobor, I saw a huey at NWAF, some vehicles at NEAF, just to give you some directions and info if you want to join B). The server runs smooth, good ping for EU-Players, but Americans and Aussies should be fine, too. Well ofcourse there is a lack of players because the server just started yesterday! Stop by and give it a try, you won't regret joining. :D
