When you connect to the server, and things still need to be rendered, grey textures and so on try to get out. Otherwise you are stuck, just let your character die, unfortunately suicide is not implemented yet.

My guess would be like in most games there's a config.cfg or video.cfg that is read-only, so it gets changed back after every restart.

Is accelerated time still on? The servers only say "net msg". Or am I missing out on some servers? Waiting for the new update to go live.

Yeah, that's basically the question is it useful (to me). Would I use it for anything else than DayZ? I wonder what games do support TrackIR too. I am not really into those flying sims. And with the upcoming things like occulus rift and co will developers still focus on TrackIR support? It's really not about the money, still 200 bucks are 200 bucks. It's cool stuff nonetheless. Money is money for a reason, it needs to be spent anyway. Just my personal opinion.

Sounds good, but there are already several people using meta data from the web to obtain all those informations. Still it would make the game more genuine.

Hm, acutally no idea what could have caused it. Maybe someone else has any ideas? All I can say is try reinstalling steam again, validate files, delete dayz and reinstall, but well you already did that. For now, my last solution would be trying to set the system back to before that windows update that may have caused it, but imo this is very unlikely. Last and final solution formate and reinstall your system =/ - but that's worst case scenario.

Hm this is obviously weird. You haven't changed anything since the last time you played?

Cool stuff, the only problem I see is that your monitor could be too small. Turn your head left and you can't properly look on the monitor further more.

We need more info ;) What's your hardware? HAve you tried validating the files through steam? Any google researches you've come across that might come in handy?
