Maybe you should take a break from dayz and come back at the end of the year. Or try to find a vanilla dayz mod server, if you think dayz sa is too buggy/laggy/glitchy. Also there are several other good survival games that are flooding the market for you to play in the meantime.

Hard to say but even high end pcs with two graphic cards and better cpu have problems and fps drops running it on 'ultra settings'. Since the game doesn't allocate more than 4gb of ram (correct me if I'm wrong), 8gb should be more than enough. Still, you should be fine and the game should run quite nice.

No glitchy shit! But I'd love to see them placeable where ever it should be possible in real-life, too. There are several good places around the map. These days I'd tent (huehuehue wordplay) to place them in those shaggy brown/black cabins where nothing spawns and nobody ever looks after anything ;)

Wow, really? I moved from my favorite hood berenzino, after everyone started to go there to zelenogorsk. Btw where did that supermarket go? I thought it was on the left outside coming from south as you enter the town? Or was that more north in pustoshka? Since Berenzino and surroundings is so crowded now, I guess zelenogorsk and co. is now my new hood. Made my first experiences in the mod around there. Also just visted the military base for my first time, everything was looted though. Do you see many hostile people around zelenogorsk? I guess I will stay there for a while.

Heya, I once again started over in regular, because once again I was fully geared and it pretty much bored me. I've played for some hours now on my new toon and at first I didn't realize I looted that 1911 engraved. So I started to wonder how rare this gun actually is, as far as I remeber it's my first one. Yet, I still have to find some magazines and also wondered if it's even worth to keep the 1911 engraved if I really can't find any magazines. That's why I made that poll, feel free to answer it! Always played vanilla servers in the mod, which are pretty rare as of now. Extra loot, friendly, no pvp, and everything else to attract or deattract people are mostly fake. Extra loot mostly means that the server restarts every 1-4 hours. Friendly and no pvp is to attrack pve players and trick them just to be shot on sight anyway. There are no ways to enforce a certain playstyle at the moment! I have been searching for a hardcore (3rd person off) server that restarts every 24hours or at least every 12hours for the last weeks. I've come across one single server (regular though) that had 12 hour restarts. Please tell me if you find one :)

Consider my post when the bluescreen comes more often, dsiable the automatic restart search for the stop error and google it. bluescreen could be everything. hardware to software.
