going from mmorpg's where its all about gear and if u die u keep ur stuff on most games...this is a big change but way better. dont matter if u have a hatchet and he has a 50 cal/m240...if hes not paying attention hes gona die...of course one is probably better then the other but unlike other games where u have to play things over and over to get gear etc...here u either find it or u dont...and u have to survive to keep what u got...pretty amazing.

i wouldnt buy it, i know ur ok with low settings but so many people would have an advantage over you, and on a dual core you would fps lag, i promise u dont want to fps lag...its terrible.

if u want to build it cheap, do ebay. thats what i did. 9800 gtx+ should run u about 50-60$ used and they last alot.. gigabyte motherboard that supports am2+ and or am3 should be 100 or less as well. 500 gb sata hd is about 50$. case : tigerdirect prob around 50$. psu: another 50$ ( make sure it has the 2 cables that go to your video card. AMD Quadcore Black edition: try to look for 3.0GHz+ : about 100$. pc6400 is the ram i chose, but u can choose differently 6gb-8gb will be 100$ or more or less depending where u choose. thats without including the os...u can buy it or u can ... :P wont say nothing else. but yea its around 500 or a bit more...and you have a great pc that will run most games. edit: this is just what my build is, you can go different on yours of course if you prefer other stuff...this is just what i built for me because i didnt want to spend a ton of money for a new one....and I have had this thing for 3 years now and still runs perfect :) best graphics card i have ever had...I need a newer one but i just like this one so much.

Bro this game is cpu intensive...u would definately be better buying a desktop....only because u can upgrade etc....and it would be cheaper then a laptop tbh that cant rly upgrade as much/ is more expensive. edit: sry u said making your desktop, thats even better and cheaper. i made mine..its kinda old already but runs game smoothe.... 4gb ram 9800gtx+ 500gb sata hd, and it wasnt much to buy it...quadcore cpu was like 130...which is awesome...gigabyte motherboard.

well thanks to videos like this me and 3 friends now play....and we get to enjoy Dayz :P. We never cared for arma 2 tbh, and once we saw these vids we loved Dayz without even buying it yet. nice vid btw.

i have this issue in berezhino and one of the north airfields...my friends have it at the same time i do so im sure its something with the game.

sounds like u had an intense moment on dayz....i myself would have kept running if i had an axe, if u were in a deerstand then their was a forest more then likely near... but yea theirs alot of these intense moments. I am actually glad i have 3 friends to play with from other games and we got a guy we met about 1-2 weeks ago that said dont shoot and now hes one of our buds...theirs still good people out here in dayz not looking to shoot people with hatchets...just gotta findem. no dude, u have to move back a lil and move around it in like a circle, depending on where it dies its harder to find the steaks, but u do have to pick them up...had this issue before just keep walking around till u see the gun with circle around it....its annoying sometimes but its their! lol

since its usually 4 of us together we will only shoot if its 2 or more. yesterday we ran into 2 guys in stary and they started shooting at my friend so i had to pop them both. They thought they had the upper hand, not knowing their was 3 of us close by. Usually when its 2+ their gona fire at 1 person or 2, especially in stary lol. We hate shooting on site, but depending on what area you are in you may have to shoot...unfortunately.

1911 i like the pdw but it takes a while to kill zombies if theirs alot and accuracy is bad...definately would be easier with a 1911 if u had to kill a player char while it was out...

theirs also a thread in here somewhere about some guys that help out by giving blood, they gave me and my group and found us fairly quickly. They also got on our vent to make sure we didnt have to chat in game...was awesum.

I love this game, best game ever. we have a crew of 4 running together since we know each other from other games, i finally died....it was only 1 day and a half...yet it felt like i been playing forever...and having so much fun. anyway i found 2 heli crashes, all types of guns i dont think anything special, really liked the m16 tho..m1911 was nice and the oozi was funny. Just thought i would post that this game is best game i have ever played. This game is a blast, and so far it is only getting better, im not a pro by far and have had some close calls all day long, but I just cant believe this game exists and I get to play it, i just keep saying finally. Anyway thx for reading my regular old story, hopefully next time i live longer, but I have gotten in deep and traveled alot, all 4 of us wish we didnt have to kill a couple of people we took out, but u fire at us or dont reply we wont think twice before putting a bullet threw them. It really is kill or be killed most of the time, watch out for clans guys, they seem to be the most ones willing to shoot without asking questions :).

i found a red car on a server, saw several people try to take it when it had a bad wheel....massacre...i didnt shoot but another 4 people came out and shot them down, that motor is way to loud, this spot was near some tents...was insane. Different for every server though so yea.

or you can build one, it isnt that hard especially when u can figure it out online, and alot of times u can get stuff cheaper that way.

i accidentally found out what v was for on top of a lighthouse....broke my legs...i lived a long time afterwards though i just couldnt find any morphine :P and it was my second death so didnt know much, still dont but not as bad :P

yea u need boht, but they sell them together on steam as a package for 18$ so get it now!! me and a friend got it 3 days ago, since then we got another friend to get it yesterday and another is getting it monday.

same i got 20% off, my friend bought it a couple of hours before this 40% rage...but at least more people will be interested in buying now that its under 20$
