Yesterday, me and my friends spent about 5 hours building a chopper. Most of the time was spent recovering items from invisible hackers killing us on the island. Long story short, we got the chopper up and running, fully repaired, fully fueled. We spent about an hour flying around, raided some towns, and did very very very slight pvp. It was late, so we decided to park it. I've heard that some server restarts have been causing choppers to go back to skalisky, but check this out... http://arma2.swec.se...ver/data/276661 All information on this website for yesterday is gone. Look at the previous server restarts, and then look at yesterday's inconsistencies. And guess what... we all got off at about 19:45... Seems strange. I logged on this morning, and the choppers gone. Am I paranoid? Or is there some hard evidence of foul play? Any ideas on reporting admin abuse? Or am I just butt hurt I lost my chopper and have to repair a new one, and it's probably gone to somebody who stole it, or a typical bug?

This game has many variations of QQ's. The most obvious are the guys that HATE BANDITS THEY RUIN EVERYTHING! Anybody who cries about hackers... you're an idiot. It's life, in alpha, and devs are aware... so please, please, please understand nobody cares about your ak74 and alice pack... But back to the topic, the people constantly complaining about getting killed by bandits, and how it's ruined the game.... The solution? Well, it's something that Rocket has already said he wanted to impliment, just with SLIGHT variations. I'm a bandit. I log on, I get gear, GOOD gear (not fucking DMR's and a toolbox), it takes me a day at least (unless I'm lucky) and then I kill people. But guess what... I have 3 other guys with me. We have a schedule. We have a base. We know each other, and trust each other. You know what all you crybaby bitches are missing? FRIENDS! So... let's help you get them. WHEN this game goes standalone, what do you nerds think about adding a queue feature. When you join a server, you can opt to queue for group (Rocket has already said many times he is interested in grouping. Group spawning, Group chat....) Anyways, you queue up to join the server with a party. FF on with the guys, no more than 3 (could overpower a server). You guys can move together.... have fun, protect each other. Do all the things you would do if you had anybody IRL that liked you! I honestly think this would solve a lot of the crying. Lets face it.... if you crybabies got ahold of a really good weapon, and knew how to shoot it, EVENTUALLY, once you realized there's more to the map than cherno/elektro/stary... EVENTUALLY you'd shoot a guy.... for no reason. One time I was playing, I decided to be a bad ass. I was a noob, thought I was hot shit, I had a kobra. I saw two guys in elektro being chased by zombies. BOOM one zombie clips a guy and he does that bad ass barrel roll to the ground, he's passed out, and his friend only has a hatchet. I say on dirC "Guys, I'm friendly, and I'm here to save the FUCKING day!" I start popping off zeds left and right, burned a couple clips like an idiot (but hey I was a bad back then) and bandage the passed out guys wounds. The other guy with the hatchet is freaking the fuck out over dirC "Dude, you're the fucking coolest guy I've ever seen in this game! Thank you so much" "No problem..." I slyly reply as I put on my shades and light my smoke. I literally DRAGGED the unconcious into the church, closed the door, and spit some fucking truth their way... "Listen noobs, I'm going to the hospital. Tell your boy over vent/skype I'll be back in 3 with epi. I'll get blood bags too, have you fuckers up and running in no time. We can cruid together and run this bitch, or go our seperate ways, but let's keep it civil... DONT open the door for anybody, I'll yell the PW when I'm close, that means I'm coming in.... PW is mac and cheese. ...if I'm not back in 5 minutes.... REMEMBER MEEEEEEeeeee........" My voice fades away as I sprint towards the hospital. I shoot out the windows, get all the goods, and in record time I'm back at the church. "MAC AND CHEESE MOTHER FUCKERS!!" I run inside, close the door behind me, and I'm feeling good. I saved a life today. I actually contributed to the game in a positive manor! These guys know now there are good people out there~! The dude is still passed out, and hatchet man's praising me... "Meak, you're the shit dude. Thanks for helping us. That's so bad ass" "I gotchu nigga!" I go hit the guy up with a blood bag, and as I'm sticking him with the epi pen, hatchet fuck yells "HAHA FUCK YOU!" and starts going away at my back. I couldn't react, I NEVER alt+f4, all I could do was cry out in embarrassment... "dude.... why....... WHY?????" But guess what? I know why.... because he had a friend. If he was alone, NEVER. He would have probably just ran. But because he had a friend to make laugh, share an experience with, and a bunch of loot they probably thought at the time was good.... they went for it, and probably had it planned all along. I was pissed, vowed never to do that again, and learned right then and there, THAT isn't a part of the game. So oh well... I can't be a fucking superhero in DayZ. WHAT A BAD GAME! No... it's just that in this particular game, if I want to be a super hero, I have to clutch out that shot to save a buddies life. I have to risk everything just to grab those clips off the crash site. I have to mule NWAF for the last friend to get RF or NVgogs. It's just a different kind of hero. Bottom line, with a FF queue, you no friender's can have the same experiences I have with my friends. When one dies, I know another will kill whoever killed me, and hold my shit until I get back. Playing alone is too scary, and not really worth it if you're trying to gear up. Think outside the box. I would never say "Halo is such a shitty game because you can't build up an army and attack the opposition" or "Gosh, I really wish Skyrim was actually good. I mean, you can't even kill Heroic Rag or use an AK!" It's not in the cards boys. So play with friends. TL:DR get friends.

AS50 is more accurate, and quieter. I suggest using the AS50 with M107 clips. Hold on to 10 rnds of AS50 5rnd incase you spot a vehicle. Otherwise, stick to the 10rnd M107's. I guess to elaborate a little. I think the AS50 with M107 clip does something like 37k blood damage. (Obviously a 1 hit kill anywhere) I believe the AS50 rounds do something like 117k bloow damage. (Will drop any car if hit in the engine in 1 shot, down a heli in 2) M107 - 10 rnds AS50 - 5 rnds

What fun? That sounds awful... I mean come on. How dare somebody shoot somebody in this game. He killed an unarmed man. What a pussy. I bet I could beat him in an arm wrestling match in real life. Seriously some kids just have no life. I mean, why is pvp even in this game? It's so dumb. Think about the possibility of not worrying about pvp! You could have made it to cherno, got look, and ran around the whole map collecting loot... to....to... uhhhh.... have? **trolling aside, cool story. OP is 1000% correct. The human threat IS DayZ. Without it, I don't think it would be ANYWHERE nearing 1,000,000 players. You want to stay alive, collect gear, sustain life, and have no threat of dying to anything in the game? That sounds like the most ass backwards boring game I could ever imagine. If you think zombies are ANY sort of a threat to your guy, you're bad. The only thing threatening about a zed is if you aggro one, another player can see a running zombie, and just has to follow the trail. Dying to snipers in Cherno? You're bad. Learn to loot. If you don't know what a chemlight looks like... you're bad. Why are you investigating stanag ammo when you have a winnie or Mr. Lee? Also, if you think a sniper on a hill outside of Cherno can easily snipe out a guy running around... you've never had a sniper, and you're bad at everything including cooking japanese food, walking the dog, and drinking from a hot mug. Sniping, (although easier with SVD or AS50/RF) is not CoD. You don't just put the center on the guys head and see the kills rack up. Taking a shot that will kill requires skill and patience. I'm so sick of horrible noobs crying all the time and ruining games because devs want money, and will cater to the masses, and the masses are the asses. GL achieving anything in life. From the beginning... Being that tents are solid again (mostly), my buddies and I set up a camp. We had some OKAY stuff in there, 3 DMRs, a couple Mk Mod 0s, M4A1 Acogs, loads of sustenance, and a couple back packs full of tools. Well last night We were farming for vehicles, and then crash sites, and then players, and logged off... this is what happened about 10 minutes ago when I logged back on. I ran to our tent spot, and there are like 10 tents there. All empty except one, with the weapons. But now there are only 2 DMRs, both bizons are mission, and there are like 15 boxes of matches inside. At first I thought some assholes came and item # blocked our gear with matches, so I started to pull them out. After pulling out 10 or so, I noticed they were cloning more inside. I ran to the other tent we had set up, and put my m107 in it. I decided "fuck this, im just going to go part hunting with my bizon" I walk back to the other tent to clean out my inventory, and BOOM, the second I OPEN the tent, I have AS50, 5 guillies, tons of clips, range finder, and M4A1 CCO SD. A couple coyote packs dropped on the gound in front of me completely full of cooked meat. I was freaking out, had no idea what just happened, and about 3 seconds later, I got kicked because battle eye said I was scripting. I logged back on, and nothing had changed, still had the as50, guilles and everything. Now, as I'm typing this, I think I'm realizing a hacker was hooking me up. Maybe he was standing next to me or something and just fucking loaded me up. I'm dropping the AS50. I've played this game about 2 months now and haven't gotten that bad boy on my own yet. First time isn't going to be by a hacker. I'm DEF keeping all the guilles though haha. My group is going to blow me later tonight for that. Any idea on what exactly happened? Has anything similar happened to anybody else?

I'm curious why a hacker would be passing loot to others on the server. And I mean, I guess "hacker" is the pronoun, but like, can they really PUT GEAR ON ME? I figured they could script shit in, but actually replace my gear? haha insanity

Guys, quit tripping out on this dude for destroying the tents. First off, it does nothing, and second, the general idea is that these assholes scripted in their lot. Nobody in their right mind would collect all this gear, and put it in ONE location. Multiple tent locations is obviously the way anybody good enough to get these items (or have the time long enough to collect) would play. GG guys

Guys, TBH, a hacker isn't going to bother with you and your Alice Pack, AKM, and GPS... I had a friend (out of state) who was scripting with some buddies. They can see who is on the map, what's on the map, spawn in items, and script the camo to make you invisible. Hackers exist, to say they don't, or to say you don't see them, therefor they aren't a problem, is ignorant. Get something worth getting hacked for and you'll find them. Pro Tip, you see 6+ people die in the same line on your server, log out.
