They where great islands too.... maybe a little small but the hours I logged on Everon and Malden (all in sp/campaign) is probably yet to be beaten lol. Its brought back to life dayz/epoch for me.... we have all the traders in place and all the gizz... AI missions, Safezones, Self Bloodbag, Heli Lift / Tow, Anti Theft, Auto Refuel/Repair.... just need to give it a good test.... just need to add some more buildings etc etc. -

We have just got Epoch running on SMD Sahrani.... god I forget how beautiful this island is. Standing in a forest and cant see my mate 100m away.... funny how BIs newer islands are getting bigger but more barren, boring and lacking variation in terrain (atlis may be massive but with the same object count as Chernarus its a joke.... -

+1 When you put in a request to have your servers wiped/reset and still have no reply months later.... Its a logical conclusion. Of course I only care about my servers, you expect me to get all worried about some German servers for example?!?! And I can only catch them when I'm on "at the same time" and in spectator mode... the server admins check the logs.... how else do you purpose I/we do our job?!?! We do the best we can with the tiny amount of mostly useless tools. We have... - BE doing its thing - In-game Admins/Mods with spectator mode (still very rough and buggy) - Server Admins checking server logs So please Labargoth, tell me what else you'd like server admin/moderators to do? We admins could all load up the latest and greatest hacks and chase cheaters.... you cool with that?.... *sigh*

Oh ok :wacko: ... I'll blame Mr Squiggle.............. Thats as retarded as saying "you haven't been to the moon so what would you know about it" :rolleyes: Or me say wtf do you know and shut yer mouth till you've had to admin servers, spent hours spectating in game chasing and banning kids, replying to hundreds of tearing post on your forums etc etc etc... like I have. Simple equation.... Shit loads of scripters in dayz that are able to spawn limitless numbers of anything + persistent griefing tools (wire + tank traps) = Ruined server. 1 script kiddy can ruin numerous servers in a very short amount of time which can't be undone as dayz devs DO NOT relpy to requests to wipe servers... And you can't grasp the problem mate!? How hard is it to remove a very broken feature (that doesn't serve much purpose anyway), fix it at your leisure and reimplement it. -

+1000 EXACTLY Wire and tank traps would not be a problem if wocket would fix this months old issue... and that is that they are pesistant after a restart... so the guy that puts it up is constantly rewarded and the guy that took the time to remove it gets slpped in the face as his/her work is undone on EVERY server restart. If wocket can't make it work properly why leave it n!?!?! SIMPLE FIX: CANNOT place wire/tank traps/TENTS within 30M of ANY structure... buildings, fences/walls, docks etc Ammo use to reset on dc and he spent alot of time fixing that even BI modified the engine to count ammo.... but wocket leaves this broken/serious griefing feature in!?!?! honestly WTF! -
Ohh... that sounds promising.... I guess by that time I'll be playing ArmA 3 and will have forgotten about dayz lol

Create Groups, find Radios, use Group Chat

No, not ARCE, its the basic channel feature..... only one thing needs to be added... group channel exists, radios exist.... all you need to add is the ability to create groups as in PR and now domination (sure there's many more that allow the creation of groups). Its really very simple. -
Simple... 1. Remove all sniper and scoped weapons. 1a. Means view distance can be increased without even more fresh spawn killers. 2. Remove all thermal weapons (and piss off all these US/western weapons, eastern block weapons are SOOO much more fitting, logic really) 3. Remove NVG... this leaves rangefinders as the ONLY source of NV. Thats just a start... edit: I'll explain what an amazing effect this would have if ppl can't work it out for themselves...

Please remove wire and tank traps, keep sandbags as they are not half as much a griefing tool as wire and tank traps. Problem is that they are persistent... so the guy that puts them up is consistently rewarded as they appear every server restart, the guys that takes it down is slapped in the face because his/her work is undone on server restart. If that can't be fixed then remove them till they can be. Or Make it so its impossible to place them within 30m of ANY structure (buildings, walls, docks etc etc)
