I have been having the same issue since updating. I always spawn as bandit. I can go put on a alice pack when I find one. Then randomly while walking around I turn into a civilian and my bag turns into a generic pack. Then I can go grab another alice pack. Once I kill someone my guy turns back into a bandit and has the generic pack AGAIN! So fucking annoying, wish I never updated.

I have managed to get a grip on transferring items from bag to inventory without losing anything. My issue now is that if I find an item and put it in my bag I am very regularly not seeing it in my bag when I relog. This has happened to an as50 atleast 4 times. Basically I had a gun in my bag and swapped it for an as50 on someones corpse. I then waited in the server for atleast 10 minutes after picking it up. I log back on later and I have the old gun I had previously swapped for the as50. My actual inventory shows the as50 ammo I took because its on my character. The items in my bag just seem to revert to what I had prior to looting the corpse. Any idea how to stop this from happening? Is there a trick to get the server to save my items in the bag? Its growing frustraiting to say the least.

I have tried waiting over 10 before and it still happens.

The best solution is to always carry an extra set of clothing in your bag. RIGHT NOW if you put on clothing, all the clips in your inventory seem to go back to 30. I don't know if it effects the backpack because I always empty my backpack before attempting to put on clothes due to the glitch of downgrades.

Try getting in a fight against a whole group of people. My first time just happened by accident and it was an insane adrenaline rush. I only stalk cherno now since I get killed by hackers pretty often. I just wait to hear gunshots and then I pounce. I have an m4a1 cco sd and I picked off a group of 2 guys at the north hospital. I caught them off guard but did not secure a kill on my first attack. One retreated into the front of the hospital and the other snuck around back. The one in back went to the roof and I picked him off. The one below in the front finally peaked out to revenge kill me and I put him down. I went to loot and after finding an as50 on the guy downstars I headed to the ladder. I run into another one of their guys in the back and put him down. I start up the ladder and take fire just as I am getting on the roof. I bandage up and prone out since I had no idea how many were left. I then hear some sort of tank like vehicle coming down the road to my building. They start circling the building and I am basically shitting myself. With the 3rd person advantage I see one guy sneaking up the ladder so I dispatch him next. I don't know if I have ever shaked that much playing a game before, but it was intense. It seemed to end with them ramming the building a few times and driving off. I have no idea what kind of vehicle it was because I did not want to stand up and get shot. I assume they decided to cut their losses. I knew it was a team because they all had camo suits on.

So this time a hacker did the shit where you are falling from the sky. Is there a way to save yourself from dying in this situation? I alt+f4'd and went to another server, dropped about half way to the ground. Left server again thinking maybe I could lessen my fall. Did this 3 times and I still fell to my death when I hit. No idea where my body is because it was nothing but forest around.

I dont remember this happening in the past, but I just put on a g-suit, and all my murders/bandits killed/zombie kills went back to zero.

Can they now stop you from disconnecting from the game? I was teleported to debug plain, and turned into a dog along with everyone else. I hit escape and had no option to disconnect.

Any idea how to get yourself out of the debug plain? I joined another server and I still have all my items but I am in a wasteland of nothingness.

I had a hacker come up to me once and ask if I wanted a car. I said no thanks but ill take some loot. Next thing I know I have all top tier items in the game.

He was not after any loot, they can load any item they want in the game. The only reason to hack is to make other people angry.

I have found one at NWAF northern bunkers. The one I have now I got off a hacker and he had a full set of clips of course. Now I just reload when I have one bullet left so when I relog later I get full clips.

I seem to find a g17 there all the time, other than that just ammo

Died in a legit 1v1 battle on the hill near elektro tonight. We both killed eachother so I went back for my stuff and hackers were all over the area. They had flattened trees/tents, and sandbag walls were all over the place. I tried to get my stuff but they played music over the mic while shooting me with silenced weapons. After they made tons of people rage quit I thought they would probably leave which they did. I kept suicide respawning to get near elektro. 2 hours later I finally arrived back at my body and mine was not the only one. Atleast 6 dead bodies on that hill, 3 with g-suits on. I took my pack/aws/as50 and other random stuff. I then noticed one body had a m4a1 holo with a grenade launcher on it. I thought about taking it but I figured it may have been an illegal weapon in day z. I know for a fact the thermal as50 I found on one body was. They did have a couple satchel charges "I took one". If those are illegal let me know so I can use it on a goat or something. All in all I patiently waited for the hackers to leave so I could get all my shit back. Glad I had nothing better to do.

Just counter sniped elektro for the first time with a thermal. Took out some guy who was probably 800 out but with the fog I could barely make him out with my as50. Got to his body and he was decked out with the normal g-suit, as50, range finder, night vision, coyote pack. I open up the coyote pack and there was 10 Mt Dews inside and a shit tons of steak and med supplies. I was almost done looting when I heard a sniper shot fire off from the opposite hill. I took the pack, some rounds and the night vision. Range finder somehow glitched out so I was not able to grab it. I hide the body since I did not plan to use it as bait. This had to be a hacker right? I don't know how someone could have that much dew and actually carry it around if they did. I really enjoy counter sniping but that will probably change if I run into someone else with a thermal.

I had an as50 and a seperate thermal gun. Swap out of pack to take shots. Unfortunately when I logged back in tonight the pack was filled with all his original crap like the mt dew and meat instead of my as50. Now I am stuck with tons of ammo for an as50 and only my thermal gun.

I will trade 4 clips for range finder and nvg

I put on a g-suit and it worked fine without causing any harm to my pack. I then tried a camo later that day and it rolled my pack back to a patrol pack. Not sure how it decides if it will do it or not but it is not fixed.

So far ran into 3 hackers today. Might be the same one server hopping, they just seem to teleport to you and use a silenced weapon to kill.

I have read a few hacker threads and been the victim of them in the past. Apparently I ran into a nice one tonight who after taking a full clip of ak with no damage asks me if I want a car. No, but I will take some of that fat loot you have there "He had a g-suit and as50" I said. Expected he would just kill me, but 10 seconds later my character drops everything he has and is fully geared out with an as50 g-suit and all the other essentials. I dont think it is wrong to keep this stuff, because once he gives it to me I can't get my original kit back. I should not have to start from scratch because of a hacker. If this stuff stays on my character I hope I don't get banned, but either way I plan on keeping it.

Well I logged in and I still had all the stuff on my person. However the pack full of loot is empty. Kind of bummed since I wanted to try out that camo m4. :(
