I can only say from my experience they don't. It was just one night playing, but with side chat many people seemed to be talking and meeting up to give transfusions and stuff. I even gave 1 myself and I never do that for people in Day Z.

I heard you piss green and die. I drank 10 cans once because I found a backpack full on a dead body. Safe to say I did not live very long after.

Anyone know the cause of this? I did not log out bleeding or in shock of any kind. I also did not log out in a high traffic area. This has happened to me more than once. I log in and once my character loads it says "has been killed by friendly fire" and I then show a screen of the debug plain. If I leave and join another server I am respawned with nothing on the coast and it does not ask me to pick a gender or anything.

I installed Lingor from a youtube tutorial but if possible I would still like to launch my game and browse servers from Day Z Commander. Is there a certain shortcut I need to use in settings? Any help is appreciated

Even though in your case its obviously hacked in since it was in a crate, there is no way to know if items on a person are hacked. Therefore they can't penalize you. Of course 20 douchers are going to post after me telling you to drop it or satan will claim your soul for eternity.

Even beyond combat logging I have noticed when I kill someone and get the murder, if they disconnect immediately their body is gone. That is even more frustraiting for me than someone getting away. Since its part of the game I disconnect every time I die just so the bastard does not get any loot from me. MUAHAHHA

I never use vehicles unless I find one fully operational. However I have noticed almost every time I spawn at Stolich there seems to be a blue wagon or white truck parked right under the gas station with missing tires. Might be worth checking out in a few servers.

It does stay across characters. One weird thing I notice is everytime I fresh spawn "I am a bandit" I have the bandit skin. If I wander around for a period of time without killing anyone I turn into a civilian. From my experience once I kill someone again "bandit or non-bandit" my character will revert to my old bandit skin with my -250k humanity. Only thing that sucks about that is when skins change sometimes I am stuck swimming in the ground and it always pulls your secondary weapon out. Has gotten my killed once. I also got trapped in a ladder when my skin auto changed and the only way out was to have someone kill me.

I only spawn at cherno, prigorodky, balota, or cap golova. I head to cherno in a relatively low pop server. Check residential buildings until I get an enfield. Head to main sniper building with the blue tops on it. I go on the back ledge of the very top and prone where I cant be seen by either side. Disconnect and join high pop server. I then go around to the front of the building I spawn at and kill whatever sniper douche happens to be up there. If for some reason one is not there, I check the taller building across the road. They usually don't expect you to be up there since you never came up the ladder. It is very common to kill a fully geared out player doing this. Probably works for me 75% of the time. Even the times I have joined and not found anyone to kill there is usually a dead body already laying there for the picking. Once I have the gear, I leave and join a low pop server to get down. I agree a lot of them probably hack, however I did kill a 3 man legit team yesterday who where covering both buildings at the same time.

My gameplay is a product of what I am offered in game. I "like most people" started playing the game walking miles looking for chopper sites or deer stands trying to squeek out some great gear. Played for multiple days to get the best stuff and then get killed by a hacker before I even got to use the shit. I decided I will no longer try hard and spend hours grinding for gear when I can just stay in cherno and kill snipers preying on new characters. It is what I enjoy doing and will continue to do. Cry all you want, I hope some of those snipers shoot you in the head while you are running around with no gun and a sack full of beans.

sounds like a lot of butthurt snipers in here, my gameplay might change when the game itself changes

I understand that people would consider this exploiting, I have an issue with people sniping in cherno, so I don't even leave cherno anymore. I just get a sniper rifle and try to kill other snipers. The only new spawns I kill are people heading up to the sniper towers to retrieve their gear.

Also if you want your other ammo fully refreshed like primary that can't convert, just change your characters outfit and it will fill the clips.

Many douche bags in this thread. If hackers are going to kill me every time I gear up I am certainly going to raid any hacker crates or bodies I find and take the spoils. Fuck anyone who considers that bannable.

I thought it was obvious that I already have the items on my character. I am talking about when I kill someone and they also have the items. No use taking an extra backpack slot when I have no one to give them to.

Sometimes I wish I played with a group of people. I kill geared out bandits all the time in Cherno and Electro and I end up hiding their bodies with NVG, Range, and GPS because I don't have the slots to carry them. I also don't do tents because I don't have a home server.

I do get the same skin change issue after playing a certain period of time. I just decided to start killing people and that way I stay at the bandit skin with no pack on. If you start murdering quick enough it never changes to civi skin and downgrades your pack.

Had the same thing happen to me once when sent to debug plain. Abort button was not accessible. By a miracle I happened to be the one guy who survived that time after getting in a Ural and running everyone over. After everyone died I saw more people spawning in so I just ctrl alt deleted ARMA. Rejoined another server and had to walk for 20 minutes to get back to civilization.

I have full health in apartments on cherno. A friendly runs in the apartments while I am prone in the hall. No shots were fired so I can only assume he damaged me by walking over me by mistake. My debug menu disappears and my hud shows I am bleeding. I try using a bandage and it seems to do nothing. The guy tries to mouse over me to bandage me and it just says "Inspect Body" or whatever that message is you get when you mouse over a corpse. I could walk around and shoot and do all the normal stuff but I could not bandage myself and I have no idea what my blood level is without the debug menu. I am not at a black and white screen yet so I assume its not too bad. Has anyone had this happen before? I left the server and hope when I respawn later I am not dead due to a weird glitch of him walking on top of me.

Well I myself have 3 bandages in my belt and he does the animation but it did not stop the bleeding. I definitely waited until the animation completed since I am sure someone would ask that.

I like an M4A1 CCO SD. M9SD and an AS50 in my bag.

Stumble upon a pack of dead guys with tons of good loot. Start picking out my gear and items I want. Get a coyote pack full of stuff. One of the dead guys comes back as a new spawn so I kill him immediately. Turn into bandit and coyote pack reverts to patrol pack and drops the rifle among other things I had in the bag. Every fucking update gets worse.
