You should check out the BSB recruiting thread on the survivor forums. I run with them almost every day (im not in the clan). Most of us are geared very well. The fireteam i run with all has NVGs, military weapons etc.. I specifically am running with Ghillie, NVGs, DRM, M4A1 CCO, M9SD, and coyote backpack....along with all the other essentials. They are putting together another 2-3 fire teams and a lot of good players have been joining up...check it out

I've been running with this guys off and on for about 2 weeks now (I am not a member of BSB at the moment). I can confirm they are all class acts and great guys to game with. Except that zenatsu....hes a sneaky, sneaky snake haha *intended bump

I got the same script restriction as DocTolly did last night when checking the player list on a server. I just checked it through the map not by pressing right shift P. This only happened once and has been fine since then.

I agree with some of the above posters once you get to end-game quality gear, just surviving gets boring. I start to itch for that excitement and adrenaline of stalking another player or being in a prolonged firefight. It also gets old really fast trying to help people when 90% of the time I just get gunned down, and have to gear up again. I've gotten to the point where I am a psuedo-bandit (started out as a survivor), if the other person doesn't see me (usually the case b/c of my wookie suit) i just shadow them a bit to make sure they are out of my area and not circling around me. If a survivor is coming toward me and going to run into me he dies. Its just the practical thing to do for me at this point. Even the most moral of survivors will be tempted to shoot me with the gear I have, so tell me why should I risk trying to be a nice guy? Also to the post above me, teaming up with other people is not challenging at all.....its just rolling the dice. It takes no effort/skill to yell friendly to someone on direct then cross your fingers and hope that they don't gun you down. I actually find it more challenging going at it lone wolf than running with my small fire team. I understand what you are trying to get at, that KOS is the "easy" way out gameplay wise, but teaming up with others isn't challenging its just extremely risky. Though I do agree with you that teaming up is usually a lot more satisfying. When it comes down to if you hate bandits so much, hunt them down and grief them instead its what I do now. They will play the game how they want to play it just like you will. Crying about it won't change anything and no one cares

I can comfirm this bug. It happened to me today. Changed my Czech backpack back to my patrol pack. Changing backpacks with the wookie suit on does not appear to be affected.

Don't take this guys post like he is the almighty. I found a group of guys to play with on here. Never knew each other before DayZ. We have found rare loot and we don't kill each other. Whoever finds it first can keep it if they want, but almost always it goes to the person who needs it most. We watch each others backs and we survive. I'm sorry if the OP has had some bad experiences, but there are survivors out there looking to work together. Just keep searching.

I am currently in an industrial loot point right on the edge of Msta. I only have 3000 blood and need a blood tansfusion badly (I can't see a damn thing). I don't have a hunting knife yet so getting cooked meat for myself is out of the question unfortunately. I just ate the last of my food, still have water and bandages but without being able to see it would be suicide trying to make it all the way down to elektro to the hospital. Can one of you good docs please help?

Hey zenatsu, I would be really interested in this. I am CST, and consider myself to be a very level headed/experienced gamer. I am somewhat new to DayZ (started 2 days ago), but have survived for a couple of in game hours now on my 3rd life and I am doing very well. I have skype (logan.chastain) and a microphone. I hate nerd rage with a passion. I have been looking to find a small group of people to play with. I've never really been into the huge clan thing, and think DayZ would be awesome with exactly what you said a small fire team that can move quickly and tactically. I don't have a primary server yet (pretty much been hoping around like you have) My character right now is decently setup (weapons, ammo, bandages, map, etc..) the only thing is that I am extremely low on blood (3000) no broken bones or anything else. So I'm planning on making a run at the elektro hospital soon to get supplies. Let me know what you think.

Survivors I am in need of some help. I am currenty right outside of Msta, and I am very low on blood (3000). No broken bones or anything like that. I have no food or hunting knife/matches. I'm looking for someone to team up with that can either give me a blood transfusion out of the goodness of their heart or can help me make a run on the the Elektro hospital and give me a blood transfusion there. I'm not super well equipped but I can hold my own and help out. Plenty of bandages, ammo, and I have a shotgun/sidearm. I aslo have a map. If i happen to die on the run anyone willing to help would of course be welcome to my thing. I have a mic and a vent server that we could use to coordinate. Hoping some of you survivors will help me out in a tight spot. I'll be in your debt.

So this mod is awesone first and foremost. I've never felt so much tension while playing a game! My guy has finally found a couple of stashes and managed to get some ammo and a water canteen. I had to log out next to a lake, because I cannot figure out how to refill the canteen and take a drink. My guy is about to die from dehydration can someone please help me survive the zombie scourge a little bit longer?!? Please help a noob out.
