What's the deal with it saying "Includes Level Editor" under where they specify "Single-Player", "Multi-player" and such? Is this just an Arma II feature or...? (I've only ever played DayZ, so I'm entirely unaware of everything that's included in it.)

Isn't it about time we added horses?

I hope that's a concept drawing for the new features from the next DayZ update! -
Ok...So it looks like I'm a bandit now...
calthehunter replied to bfisher's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Gawd, I can't wait till they do away with the current humanity system. It's so horrendous <_< (out of curiousty: I've been away from the forums for a bit, wtf is up with people just quoting people and being done with it? How is that a legit post?) -

Who's suggested dinosaurs?? I'd support that! A pterodactyl would be far better transport than a heli! -
Can't happen, unfortunately. Without it, there's no DayZ youtube content (or not nearly as much) and that can't happen as it's now part of the DayZ culture. Just as much as Minecraft videos/LP's and animations are apart of it's bigger picture

I've always personally found servers with no nametags or crosshairs to be immensely more enjoyable. There's a far greater level of challenge, for both yourself and anyone else involved, which makes any PVP'ing just that much more exhilarating. Unfortunately, this isn't really something you can force a removal of due to there being too many people that wouldn't be accepting of a change like that. And while a server with NO 3rd person/crosshairs/nametags is my ideal server when I'm wanting a real challenge, the removal of 3rd person just couldn't happen (I understand the thread's about crosshairs, it's just that someone suggested 3rd person, but as long as we want the DayZ Youtube machine to keep churning out content: It must stay)

Your username is unacceptable. Also, I think you misunderstood what was meant by "epic circling skills, bro", which leads me to think you should just think before you type...anything.

You respect whose work? I don't get that feeling, but I guess I've just got the photographer in mind who probably does make try to make a living off of photography and things like the background included here. You're right, it's not really a big deal that the original photographer is credited or at the very least name the person who's likeness you've included in this. Could have at least used IMDB (google it, lol) to figure out the name of the actor you've included. In my opinion, I feel it would flow better if the text conformed with the effect used on the background a bit. The way the background has that convex feeling (pardon my lack of proper terminology) and pops out at you while the text goes against that, just doesn't do it for me (well, I think it's more just the background and it feeling like you're looking through a telescope).

The 7 Causes of PvP ---- [VIDEO]
calthehunter replied to psycorevolution's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Great video, really enjoyed it. It's most certainly the fun factor that makes me PVP, but I have to agree: DayZ needs to offer rewards for helping as much as killing another player. -
DayZ 2017 Upcoming features (Sleep and Weight system)
calthehunter replied to Unrustled jimmies's topic in DayZ Mod Gallery
Yeah, this really doesn't seem fitting in anyway. The weight system, sure, but isn't that already in the works with the new inventory system for the standalone (correct me if I'm wrong on that one, haven't played catch up on the news lately)? -
If the person in the photo is from a major motion picture (as in, he has an acting career that supports him) and the background photo is done by a professional photographer that sells photos (whether as a living or not), could we not surmise that at the very least you should give credit where it's due? You've just taken someone else's work and made it your own...just saying.

Disruption has arrived.
calthehunter replied to delquae@gmail.com's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
If I can offer advice to anyone thinking about this server, it's quite the joke of a server and ABSOLUTELY not worth your time. The admins host events where they give themselves top gear and post up in Devil's Castle and disguise their PK'ing as a "Server Event". Interestingly enough, after making a comment about them using server events as a cover for getting their kicks killing their players, wouldn't you know? A chopper with the admins comes from nowhere, directly to my location in the middle of a forest, and starts unloading on me. -Well, I guess if you do choose to join and still have the brains to see through their disguised admin abuse: Don't try to warn the others, the admins will come and kill you for it. -

Keep it up, boss! This is the sole reason why I plan on hosting soon, because of THIS. -
40% OFF SALE | Premium DayZ Server Hosting | Host Altitude (Ltd)
calthehunter replied to jonnerz's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
Someone help me out here, I'm missing the logic behind running a 40% off sale during September, yet Host Altitude claims that it's a bad time to order from them as they're understaffed? Horrible move, probably a massive money grab on the way out the door. *lol, I find the tag for this thread to be humorous. -
"A+" HOST ALTITUDE GOING OUT OF BUSINESS
calthehunter replied to ArchAngel-7-'s topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
In all honesty, Host Altitude was sketch from the beginning. But I'm very sorry to hear this had to happen to you and I seriously hope you get your money back. :( This is why I've yet to decide on a hosting provider for DayZ, there are too many companies still taking advantage of people
