[SA] Usable Indoor Fireplaces

I would love to see something like this implemented, in fact, I WANT IT IMPLEMENTED. -
What wait? Another island apart from Utes? It's not sarcasm believe me, but I lurk this forum and the subreddit forum every day and I've never saw anything related to another island except from the addition of Utes.

Not sure if... *insert Fry meme here*. DayZ Standalone runs on the DAYZ ENGINE, they're merged different parts of different engine builds and added a ton of new internal features to finally commit a single engine who can handle everything on the DayZ space (Take On Helicopters, ArmA II and ArmA III). That's why the weather is similar to Take On Helicopters, that's why it's environmentally similar to ArmA II and graphically similar to ArmA III; think about it as an ArmA 2.5 engine but with m0ar frameZ. -
Are you going to leave the 'debug zone' as a part of the map or do you think it's possible to suppress it somehow (like barriers, mountains, etc)?

You saw it here first, new outfit for DayZ characters: (please ladies, contain your beans)

"ArmA 3: DayZ Mod" it's like ArmA 2: DayZ Mod but with cooler graphics. Again another one who prefers graphics before optimization/new features? Come on... -
Obviously I'm not Rocket, but I'm pretty sure that he has an Alienware m14x, it´s a pretty decent laptop for gaming, although it's not the very best you can find at the moment. The specifications are easily findable on Google, and they're pretty much similar to any $600 PC you can buy by now. He said that he has 30ish fps approximately with medium/high settings, so it's a good rig to play DayZ Standalone in the near future.
-
I don't think they're going to allow deleting files and similar because Steam checks the integrity of all games before launching them, so it's pretty much impossible to run DayZ or any other game without all the files or at least the correct version of them.

Rocket said that he's going to review the public alpha build post-E3, so that means after 11/06, a week later approximately if I guess. -

But the question is... Now on-topic, VG247 released two videos of Rocket talking about alpha pricing, method of release and possible special edition. Here are the links: (talks about the game itself) (talks about weapons) -
DayZ in a way, has ruined gaming for me!
guisho replied to OfficerRaymond's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
I know that feel bro, in fact I was going to sell my desktop rig to get a laptop because games wasn't giving my any joy at all (I play games since my 7 years and it was like an awful sensation to me) but in the same time I did that DayZ came in front of me and was like... hell. I played about 12 hours per day (going to College in the meantime) and well, now I'm patiently (lol) waiting for Standalone. Hope it will provoke on me the same thing the mod did. Regards -
The vehicle features are mostly to be the first thing after Standalone release for the team to have in mind. As Rocket said, it's the first Milestone to achieve when the alpha build is out (no specific details on this one, I think it will be only physics improvements only and not customization or something related). And refered to the character customization, I'm pretty sure they didn't give so many details after that big devblog on March featuring a lot of tweaks and features like the three races for the models (black, caucasian and asian) and probably stock faces and voices. Hope I helped you in some way, regards.

"... and digging trenches". I probably saw what he did there? -
I hope that the new economics items system used in Standalone could bring old/new rare items and keep them that way, I mean, we can still have weapons like AS50 or M107, but not respawning 5 per server or things like that, more like making them a unique item so it will not only be used for better purposes than hunting/pvping, and in the same time it will be less probable to find one or get people desperate to have it.

Or maybe the animations will be similar in terms of length, but not like skipping them, it just take away the need of scrolling down to find the item and having a misclick or something. (just my thought) -
The only thing Dean said about the release date is that in Bohemia exists an internal deadline for the release of DayZ Standalone, but for the public it's only by completing the Milestone of getting it working as he wants since the December delay.

Could it be possible to put a train in DayZ?
guisho replied to Poncho Villa's topic in DayZ Mod Suggestions
It would be nice to get this working on, but well, knowing the DayZ scene its probably for the worst (because of camping, sniping, etc) so it wouldn't be so useful in a 'tiny' map as Chernarus in terms of railroads and tracking. -

DayZ with the new skeleton. Enough said: -
I already did, I got completely stunned after seeing it. Keep up the good work, regards from Argentina.

Very similar to an antique drinking game where you had to drink whenever you hear the phrase: 'it'll be done when it's done'.
-
Did you evaluate presenting these models to Dean? It would be a good combo with his idea of making a DayZ Comic and the -already working- shirt shop. After DayZ Standalone release, accesories and goodies for all the worldwide survivors!
