ok so in the standalone they wont be using chernarus (that's simply a borrowed map from arma2) i would assume there will be a new map. now i was watching a youtube vid just now about lingor island and got to thinking: if you can have two seperate maps and characters now, imagine what the dayz devs can do if they create 2 or even 3 seperate maps for dayz standalone! like in warz's approach you could start with the main map and then over time add these new maps and character slots either for free or at a dlc charge. this would keep gameplay interesting for extended periods of time since i personally can hardly stomach chernarus anymore (too bland its an eyesore after too long) so i have hope in lingor island. also for those who don't know of lingor island there ya go.

i agree with both of the above posts and thanks smasht_AU for that info. il be looking into this chernarus +. couldn't be more excited to see some improvement in the gameplay catagory of dayz (after the more serious issues are fixed)

hey im 15 years old. iif thats a problem please leave now. id be interested in teaming with one or two players to do things such as raids on citys and military bases and whatnot. now lets not forget player killing. i hope that we could kill players on a regular basis using teamplay and precision. requirements: MUST have a mic and skype MUST have enough experience with the game to be able to take care of yourself MUST be willing to split and share med supplies food ammo etc. for the good of the team MUST be 13 or older also, its preferable if you have patience and can be serious but can also be joking and playful My skype is matt.gluckman add me on skype if youd like to join or post in this thread telling me a little bit about yourself. hope to see someone soon

hey guys =D a guy named superkush is trying to join you i understand? well he came to my medical aide once heres the story: he was on the otherside of the map and had an issue connecting to my server but he still did it. i had broken legs and damn good gear so i didnt know if i could trust him. well i died by zombies before he got there =/ HOWEVER he put all my gear into a tent and sent me the coords and offered to wait for me there but i was offline =/ basically, this guy has proven himself to be a certified carebear. ACEPT HIM OR ACCEPT DEATH FROM ME. this guy is awesome and i vouch for him =D
