Polygon graphical errors seem to be a common occurrence on lots of servers. I heard that it is somehow possible to (flush?) the graphics by pressing ALT and something...? Does anyone know the exact command or any fixes? Thanks.

At these damn polygon graphics making it impossible to see dick all. Activating flush hardly works half the time. We never had this problem before the ArmA 2 beta patch... Someone, ANYONE, please fix this bs!

It's awfully risky though unless you don't have anything worth keeping. I mean, you're essentially logging into enemy territory completely blind praying you don't get shot while you're waiting for "Setup complete, please wait".

To be honest, I'm both a sniper and counter-sniper. When I get killed as a sniper, I counter-snipe to get my shit back... It's best way to get a sniper rifle instead of running for hours to loot a military base or find a heli crash site. My kill-death ratio is around 23 - 1. Bottom line though: there will always be more snipers than counter-snipers, thus snipers will always prevail. -

I realize it wasn't a pvp disconnect, but this 'trick' is still pretty childish. I wouldn't call it a "flank" either... Perhaps "teleportation" maybe? >.<

Not as reliable and may not work on all keyboard models. With using the Steam overlay, you're still able to type to friends while auto-running. If you depress W with the pen lid, you can't do anything else except watch your character run (or go AFK).

It should also be noted that to stop auto-running you simply tap 'W' once again. It's also a wise idea to change your Steam overlay hotkey from "SHIFT and TAB" to the tilda key ( ~ ). Reason: tab can continually scroll in-game and makes menu and gear interface glitchy.

They are server-side graphical problems. Only fix = server reset. Here's a temporary fix for the client: Press [left shit] & [ - ] on your numpad at the same time. Then type: FLUSH This only fixes it for about 5 - 10 minutes though. Find a new server or wait until restart.

Spawning in a building that players are looting

Fair game. They could've easily shot you while you were loading in (if they would've seen you first) and left you like: "Wow, I just spawned in and some asshole kills me before I have a chance". Luckily for you, it worked out in your favor this time. In the future, play it safe and logout in a less popular location (such as in the forest).
