Got stuck in this exact spot. Got out first try by sprinting into the corner to the left of the door, vaulted, then DCed mid-vault. When I reconnected I was outside the door in the hallway. 5 minutes later I fell and died, but the point is I got unstuck. This corner: http://i.imgur.com/hVc7gAD.jpg

You can jump out the window in that area. I got stuck there yesterday when I glitched through a wall somehow.

If you're talking about realism, what's the first thing you'd do in a zombie apocalypse? I'd go buy a gun. I would think the number of civilian-owned weaponry would skyrocket overnight.

Sniping from the top of a building, directing my friends to where a guy is so they can hopefully be close enough to loot him before he logs. Much respect to anyone who doesn't insta-dc after they die, btw.

And he still has his AS50. Don't get me wrong, I'm against combat logging, but I don't believe in crucifying people over something the game encourages them to do.

OP needs to learn how to use his weapon. You miss 3 times you don't deserve the kill.

once you learn how to use the DMR mill dots, it takes far less time to aim than to zero the m24.

i detest the CZ550. it is far too inconsistent with its damage and accuracy. nice guide for people who are unfortunate enough to use it, though.

was on a lingor server that had the humvees with the mounted LMGs enabled. I was gunning while a buddy drove when we saw a chopper cruising low over a field a little ways off. I opened fire and lit up the chopper. after a good spray, the chopper must have been disabled because two parachutes popped as the pilot and gunner bailed. I got one of them with another LMG spray, but the other guy landed safely on the other side of a hill. he popped his face up barely over the hill and started popping AKM shots and my friend (who had gotten out to fire when they bailed). I jumped out of the gun and lined up a DMR shot from behind a rock. One to the dome and he joined his friend at the loading screen. nothing good lootwise, but two very satisfying kills.

radios exist in game, we found one early on when we first started playing. they have no functionality as of right now though.

Lol that's the point...it doesn't matter when hackers join...they get banned almost instantly.

Wow...just noticed this thread...I'm a retard...couple stories for u guys: Our squad likes to camp Elektro and kill noobs cause we're dicks like that. Anyway, after a long night of doing that, I logged out on top of the hospital (incidentally, one of the safest places in the city if you know what you're doing). The next morning, I log in to the sound of rotor blades and machine gun fire. I creep out around the corner and see a pilot hovering his Huey while his gunner blasts the hills overlooking the town. I take aim with my DMR and shoot the pilot, hitting him squarely in the neck. His body disappears below the instrument panel as he passes out. The chopper stays hovering for a couple seconds then starts tilting sideways. First, just very slightly....then a little more....then a little more, the whole time picking up lateral speed. Then, all of a sudden, it completely loses control and starts a mad spin toward the ground, ending in a fiery explosion killing both the occupants. First time I've seen a chopper taken down by a shooter and it was pretty fun to be the shooter. Second story takes place in the same spot: Elektro hospital. It was late one night and there were six people on the server. Three were with me, two were admins, and one was just some random fellah. The remaining three members of our squad were just hanging out in Elektro, chatting over mumble when one of our guys decides he wants to go look for c-sites. He starts climbing down the inland-side ladder of the hospital when crack crack...he gets sniped from the smaller hill overlooking Elektro. It was night and none of us had NVGs at the time, but the third member of our squad had an L85. He put eyes on that smaller hill and immediately spotted two people. I was on the utmost top of the hospital with my DMR, but unfortunately, I couldn't see them due to the darkness. We sat in this stalemate for some time until the two people on the hill decided to leave. My L85 overwatch told me they were on the top of the hill, running away from Elektro and I popped up to find a shot. I baaarely caught the silhouette of a person crouch running along the top of the hill and double tapped his center mass. Kill. It was one of the admins. All of a sudden chat blows up as the admins start "talking shit" to the "hacker" who killed them. Since my squad is well-known by the admins on this server, they assumed the random fellah was the hacker and banned him...no questions asked. The remaining admin decided he didn't feel like playing around with us anymore so he fled, leaving his buddy's corpse to rot. We got a SAW, NVGs, rangefinder, Coyote pack, etc. and logged out happy for the evening. For good measure, I let the admin know that I killed him so he'd lift the ban on the random fellah. Moral of the story: Kill an admin, they'll think it's a hacker and drop the banhammer....cause that's how they do. That's all I can think of for now.

so rather than fix the problems with it (disallow voice chat in side and allow it to be toggled) you'd rather they just completely disable it?

Just play on a private hive that allows it. se101 is a great private hive server that allows side chat. The community there is decent enough and you should be able to catch up to your hive character pretty quickly and easily. Private hives are the way to go until the game releases...they can really crack down and permaban hackers and dupers, too.

se101 is a really good private hive. Awesome population during peak hours, and still a decent pop during later hours. The admins are really good about dealing with hackers and giving people stuff back when they're killed by hackers. They also ban for combat disconnects which is really neat IMO.

Yeah that's a hacker doing that. Play on a non-hive like SE101 to avoid hackers.

non-hive servers are so great. hackers get permabanned right away on good ones. SE101 is good, the asylum is good too. I pretty much only play non-hive until the hacker problem is dealt with.

and shortly been made leader
