    If you buy Operation arrowhead and install with Arma II that is all you need. You do not need the Private Military or British Forces add-on to play Dayz. I suggest using sixupdater if you are not familiar with running mods. Hope this helps. EDIT: once you install armaII and arrowhead that is when it becomes combined ops. you cannot buy anything called combined ops.

    The idea is good but what purpose would it serve? If you were to leave it on random walls around chenarus who would you expect to find it? Would you still be on that server by the time anyone finds your message? what would be on the message? and if it was for a friend then surely your mic is better for that. A designated spot would also not work as I am sure bandits will enjoy picking off messenger boys with their .50 cal's.

    It's fun. If you run they can't catch you. I was roaming round cherno when I had a funny feeling I was being followed so checked behind me and lo and behold 2 dudes were chasing me with axes with zombies following. I just kept running and they soon gave up. Pointless but fun!

    Don't worry about being considered a hacker. As long as you are not running code from your pc for Battleye to detect you are fine, you can use any hacked item. last saturday I came across 3 spawned helicopters got in one, without thinking about being banned, and flew it around before running out of fuel. I have not yet been banned.

    This had happened to me. I just find a server that starts me with all my gear. I think its a server side issue so nothing you can do about it but change server.

    If you save the vehicle it should be there even if you log off the server unless someone steals it whilst your away. For water you need a water bottle in your main inventory go to a well or freshwater lake right click on the water bottle and fill it. Hope this helps.

    I think it would be the armabeta.exe in the main game directory as the latest 1.7.2.3 will only run with the beta.

    I am not a good sniper but I am one of the best DayZ chefs in chenarus. I can cook ten different bean dishes and a wicked steak. If you recruit me I want paying with blood packs to make my favourite of all survival foods......Black Pudding....mmmm yum yum!!

    Try lookin in the barns on the outskirts of electro and cherno. If there are no items spawning anywhere at all you should try another server.

    I found the G17 to be useless. Usually I will get head shots on zeds but if your in a situation where they aggro en masse its pretty useless. One zed took 4 bullets before he went down. I like the 1911 or the magnum one shot one kill anywhere on the body.

    You can mark the map just double click on the map and type in your text. Be careful though cos ppl can see your markers.

    They could add ganja aswell. There would be less PvP cos everyone would be in the woods around a campfire having a social toke on some fresh bud provided by the natural surroundings in Chenarus. Oh and throw in a guitar for some sing song action.

    Thanks Bandito I will keep an eye out for one. Don't mind losing my gear but get annoyed when I swap a good pack for a lesser one and the old pack disappears on me.

    Draw Distance
