If you have players spawning on the coast only it allows you to creat a hiearchy for loot. Ie shitty stuff where it's easy, and good stuff inland and the awesomestuff way way inland.

I get this error and want to try this fix: "I get "You can not play/edit this mission; it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted.cherarus" when trying to join any server. - Make sure you launch the game as 'Combined Operations' and NOT 'Operation Arrowhead' when launching from STEAM." But how do I launch the game via the beta patch icon as Combined Operations and not Operation Arrow head? The search failed me and my google fu is weak. Can a mod delete/lock this I found a script which loads it properly but there are other issues now....

I figured out how to do it, Install the beta then: Go to your operation arrowhead folder and move the exe that launches the game out of there to some other folder or rename it to "original" or something. Now go into steam/common/Operation Arrowhead/expansion/beta and copy this "arma2OA.exe" and put it in the main folder. Now add this to your launch options in steam, or to the target once you make a short cut -beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion And the game will launch properly

I agree with this; I don't mind disconnect for zombie but disconnecting during PvP breaks the game. Specially when people take pot shots at me and then when I start shooting back they log off. That pisses me off the most.

You need to provide photos and or video plus scripts and ideally player names to ask for a ban. Just comming on here and going OMG RPGS isn't going to do anything but get this thread locked.

Proof of temps: I live in Canada and I have AC on when it's hot out side (and the window open while gaming in the winter/fall/spring) This is the cooler I'm using: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103089&Tpk=cooler%20master%20v6 Inside my case: There is a blower type fan you can't see because I took it out, it goes over the GPUs though to pull more air off of them and push it out the back. That photo is a little old, as I rotated the heat sink on the CPU 90*Clockwise so it's pulling in the front and pushing out the back this improved my temps by about 2*C. Obviously if it's 30*C+ in the house it doesn't run this cool, but when its 23-25*C (around 74-76*F on average in the summer) I get awesome temps under load.

FWIW; my buddy is running a 6850 on a stock HP computer (300watt PSU) with zero problems. I ran two 6850s on a 600 watt with zero issues.

Imo the 6850 is the better card. I was/am able to play Dayz and many other games on maximum settings with my single 6850. Plus I think it's cheaper than the 550TI I now have two in crossfire and they're a burly combo. Go online find some friends join their clan play with them? I play on my own all the time, it's more fun in someways than playing with others. That said I team up with my buddies all the time.

I have found lots of anti-biotics. They're ontop of the elektro hospital all the time....

I wish it was easier to by pass it, I was in the tower of the firehall out side of elektro, and then i logged back on later and the bottom of the stairs was wired. So i changed servers and that one was wired, then the 3rd server was wired on both sides of me!! Was both funny and frustrating hopping servers so I could get out.

Spawning with out a weapon is....AWESOME I had a 40+ hour character and I got sniped last night which sucked but w/e. I got to spawn on the beach with nothing and it was awesome. The only really stressful thing about it was once i had some good stuff I didnt have bandages. (This is awesome too)

Admins can not drop bombs, spawn weapons/ vehicles, manipulate item spawns etc. Stop bellyaching and deal with the fact you got smoked by some players and go find them and kill them to get your shit back.

A lot of those DE servers are run by the same group of people. And they all have the same practice of kicking players who join who arn't clan members. I had the same issue on DE 30, and others have on 38 and 39 and 40something. I think that this needs to be addressed post haste as they're basically cheating by playing on their own with no risk of other players killing them.

My friends and I were repeatedly kicked from "DayZ DE #30" by the admin username: TEPHEP He is the only one playing on a 50 person server. We join played less than two minutes and then the 3 of us got kicked. This happened several times before we gave up (initially thinking it was a glitch or something) This needs to be rectified.

I'm at a loss here. I cant find the standalone files for the windows server anywhere. Hell, I have a second steam account and the game + mod installed there too I'll run it that way if someone can help me find the correct files. Can some one help me find these files so I can get it working and then submit a request to the Devs to make another Canadian server? Thank you.

No he's not supposed to be doing that and I think that he should at least receive a warning at the very least. He isn't even kicking for clan members, which I could understand. He's kicking so he can play alone. I was on the server and my friend was about to get Anti Biotics and he almost got fucked!! luckily he got them. sigh its Dbags like this that make me RAGE.

There are lots of issues, and bitching about them in the general forum wont get them fixed. Go to the bug site, or suggestion section to bitch....
