I left a server whilst laying down in a deer stand when I joined the server again I was on the floor with broken bones and losing blood ,luckily I had morphine and some meat! So beware not to leave a game in a deer stand!

of course he was trying to imply I was server hoping , that' standard on this forum! Just trying to let people know so others can avoid doing it!

If someone is server hoping deer stands I guess this would probably include them to.. thanks for the useful contribution. ............... ;)

I have no idea what you mean , sorry ? ~edit , you mean bring back separate clothing for bandits ? I would agree with you but it would be hard to get a system going , I mean to separate your average survivor that would kill in self defense and people who just kill on sight. Obviously if you see someone with bandit clothing on your going to kill him with no questions asked even if its a player who got the clothing through a certain number of kills. If its a choice/ random that a player gets when they spawn obviously the bandits don't want to be known so will chose the civi clothing. It would be good to see it back but would be hard to get it right.

why does everyone want more thing's in the game when you get killed by opening a gate or lose weapons/items you worked hard to find every now and again. Let them get through alpha and get the bugs out before even thinking about more vehicle's in my opinion

Nope I went around electro for 10 minutes then dc'd , It's happened to me just after finding a ghillie suit as well. This is the glorious DayZ in alpha I suppose.. Thanks to the guy for not killing me and then giving me the gun anyway I suppose!

I couldn't care how much you paid for your computer. If you paid £1500 for it and your only getting 30 fps on a game like DayZ I'm afraid to say you got screwed. You can call BS if you want but the proof is in the pudding... I put a video up on YouTube every now and again. I'll make sure to show my settings and leave the fps benchmark on the video ( I get 30fps whilst recording) in my next video I upload

If you were just wanting a half decent computer to run games on the higher end of the settings. I would buy a cheap motherboard compatible with ddr3 ram and because I'm biased a am3 socket motherboard for the amd 965 be because they are excellent value for money . I have a stable overclock at 4ghz and my temps don't go higher than 55 Celsius. (With a cheap upgraded cooler ) Of course you would also need ram aswell , I went for the cheapest possible and it works great. If your psu is half decent then that's all you would need. Nice affordable gaming rig upgrade for sub £150 if you shop around

100% your cpu or another fault dude. I've got a ati 6870 aswell and it runs it brilliant. In the big cities I never see my fps below 40 with everything on the highest settings. My pc isnt that great either infact I built it with a budget of £300. AMD 965 @ 4.0ghz ATI 6870 and 4gb of ram , the cheapest possible choice @ £20.Upgrade you cpu and you will see a big difference :)

It's funny I see so many threads on here about bandits ruining the game, yet I get so much abuse for going against the grain and trying to help a guy out. From now on I will never let anyone away I will kill everything in my sights :) Lesson has 100% been learned ! haha This was the second one I had found both times I found it was in the the barn north of cherno.. I don't have a mic , the guy said over the voice chat to me 'friendly , friendly , I just spawned ! ' we were just off cap golova so I didn't question it, me being to gullable!

I don't know. Less questions and try it :D It 100% works for me , I was up in Stary and couldn't get to the campsite because the same issue you're having , I changed the HDR settings from very high to normal and it was fine. The problem is with the zombies that spawn in military bases

To fix the graphic issue simply adjust the HDR Setting, works for me.

.Although I'm glad I get to start over it's pretty annoying when this happens just 10 minutes after arriving at the NW Airfield :( Is this simply lag on my end or some sort of glitch ?

We will just put it down to: 1. A new player lacking the DayZ wiki printed on his forehead. 2. A ''nerfed'' gun. 3. DayZ being it's good old glitched self. That brings a conclusion to the thread, thanks for the info :)

You never seen me aiming at his head , I had the sights on his upper body. I wasn't expecting a player to come running in, the only reason I switched weapons was because I was low on ammo with the mp5 . When I killed that first zombie and heard agro ( probably from the other player ) I put ''stealth'' to the back of my mind and turned to survival with the ak74 as I've had bad experiences on my own up in that airfield

We all start off somewhere , I wasn't expecting a guy just to come running in the barracks. I delayed in shooting as I usually give players a chance to speak before I shoot. I'm not overly bothered about dying . I'm now converted to shoot first ask question's later unfortunately. I never knew that dude , thanks for sharing ! I have noticed the lee enfield is really poor nowadays compared to what it was though

Yeah the ak47 would of been my first choice but I had just swapped it for my silenced mp5 and had no time to react and switch guns from the revolver to ak47. o well, The joys of DayZ ! Looking back on the video it looks like he was possibly a friendly waiting on me firing first, I'm very paranoid on this and decided to shoot him when I seen him aim his gun at me..

Do bullets just stop when they hit a body almost like a bullet proof vest on DayZ ? It doesn't look like any of the bullets done any damage. if that's the case live and learn ! The fun begins again :) edit- to me the bullet trajectory looks like it would miss that corpse by a long shot
