You could have banged your head?????? (Realism) If you are prepared to fall and carefully drop you may subtract 2 meters from the distance fallen. Whereas if you are unprepared or tossed down head first the GM may add a couple of meters to your fall. If you have Acrobatics or Judo talent (or any talent that teaches you how to break your fall) you may reduce the distance fallen by 1 meter. ;)

Why dont you try and make it to a hospital....?? Its all part of the mod.

Server farming, do it everybody else is.... If there is no loot leave and come back after 15mins+, when you log into a loot area the loot will despawn unless your outside of the radius. Why do you think there's so many survivors running around with the best gear and dont care "Server Farming" tents full of gear.. "I'm being sarcastic"

Count yourself lucky it was only 2 hours, alot of players have been killed 3/4 weeks ingame..... Its just part of live or death in DayZ. :angel:

If you head into Arma II weapons range or the editor you can set up targets at different distances. Get some idea of the range and zeroing. Or look up the DayZ wiki got loads of information.

We'll start collecting "Beans" for you and so you can sell them in the market... Thats the best I've heard yet :heart:

Deerstands/castles you can find morphine/painkillers, not 100% sure about bloodbags??? Mash tents up in Stary sobor. Not a nice place...

Think your spot on about the comms text is 40m, and voice is 80m. Is it just me or did the video look abit staged???? coming from behind and running straight in front of the other survivor. Everybody knows the crossbow is the most accurate weapon..

Can aways remember the first time i ran into a bandit (when there were bandit skins) he was getting pursued by a train of Zs about a mile long, I was in a barn and he headed straight towards me. At this time i'm thinking to myself fuck this and aim shooting at the Zs, the bandit runs up the stairs and starts taken out some Zs aswel.... When all the Zs are down i realized i'm out of ammo, thinking that the worst is about to happen?? We chat in the side-chat he give me some ammo, move out together raid some towns/deerstands then go or separate ways..........(Cant see much of this kind of thing occurring now) unless he unloads the ammo into your head...:huh: So i still try and not shoot-first "but the way this mod is going" cant see holding my trigger finger off for much longer....

Server-hopping to farm loot, Disconnecting to avoid death/Zs and server-ambush "login off one server to get a better postion on another then log back in Bang". All of the above need to be priority number one, players that like this mod and want the experience that it can offer need to see something done about this.... Quote:find a pistol in town... and some guy with an assault rifle spawns into the same building as me and of course doesn't hesitate to just murder me flat out. Could have been someone "server-ambush" seen you go into that building..? I think myself this mod is on a very slippery slope "a course of action likely to lead to something bad or disastrous".

[FIXED] Infected sometimes not inspecting thrown items (they will walk to the location of a noise, 20-40m away) Just make sure it hits a wall or road and not grass..

Nice kill Delta Smoke, Its easy for these "hardcore-snipers" to kill unarmed noobs and have a laugh about it.. But as soon as you get the better of them they shit themselfs and D/C, seen this all the time. PvP is grand but these's assholes only give the real-bandits a bad name. Not that bandits have a bad names as it is......

Think its great not spawning with a gun, this mod is all about trial and error (the process of experimenting with various methods of doing something until one finds the most successful) All the new players need to do is look up DayZ wiki it gives you everything you need to know... Loot were to find guns and everything else.. Just stop running all over the place and plan ahead...
