Maca (DayZ)

I really like the panthera map, but adding jets? this seems to have just pushed the DayZ concept out of balance..

This is always a hard one to call, my own personal experience ingame when coming across younger players than me (I'm old) so everybodys younger than me (Maybe not everybody). "Some" teenagers can come across as very mature, but i've also found players in their twenties or even thirties acting like little kids in a playground. If the players from their teens up to the oldies can fully grasp the concept of the game and show some form of maturity i don't have any problem with how old they are..At the end of the day one should treat others as one would like others to treat oneself. (Golden Rule).

Same as TSAndrey, i've a character on the public hive must be alive for about 150+ days if not more. But i've neglected him for quite sometime now, poor guy must be undernourished.

Taviana and been on Panthera for a while now. Same as Aussiestig has stated Namalsk is a great map but to many high-end loot spawns, kills the survival aspect. To be honest the bigger the map the better and if the infected or bandits don't get you on panthera the mountians will.........

Oh my "God" it has been resurrected from the dead...? I had just come to terms with my phobia (stanophobia) of rocks in DayZ, but now all the counseling has gone out the window.... God damn you ROCKS if it wasn't hard enough to survive.

Anchorage Alaska, nice size city (not to big) on the coast surrounded by mountainous terrain and also vast wilderness with medium/small towns scattered throughout the surrounding area. I like the suggestion of Edinburgh... Especially the idea about pubs (being Irish) where else would you want to find comfort and security in the event of an outbreak.... But at the end of a glass.

yes true, but the mechanics are not implemented into the game for the player to do every day actions. Hence why 3rd person makes up for the lack of awareness you can't have in 1st person...

This 3rd person issue have been brought up so many times with the "In Real Life" you wounldn't be able to see around corners, over walls ect... But infact if i wanted to peek over a wall or around a corner "In Real Life" i could, even climb the wall if necessary? .. So i fail to see how some people can compare 3rd person not being realistic and having an advantage over other players (Thats just a weak term used to fight the issue with 1st/3rd person) when every player has the use of it on that server.. Nothing like this should ever be forced on the players, because not all players look at DayZ as a "First Person Shooter". I play both 1st/3rd but to be honest i perfer to have the option and it comes down to a a simple term each to their own...

The difference alone in the ArmA2 pic and the DayZ Standalone are just astonishing making Chernarus come to life even more.... keep out the great work DayZ Team.

Next time leave out the shooting of "unarmed" survivors.

At Lopatino follow the road north till you come to Skalka, just in behind the rocks i've come across tents and vehicles. Even a heli or two?. Also just up the road there is a barn with a fuel-tank at the back, so players seem to try and set up base around this area with easy access to fuel...... Have stalked that area in the search for vehicles before and have always found one. But haven't been on the Chernarus map in awhile.....
