So yesterday (26 August), between 23:45-23:55 (GMT+2 time), a possible hacker gave me gear, very rare gear. It was a M107 (4-5 mags), a M1911 (4-5 mags), NVGs, Range finders, Coyote Backpack and a lot more but i can't remember what because i rushed to drop them so i don't get a ban.
The whole scene started when i was scouting the south-east hill near the Elektrozavodsk power plant for possible sniper that could have killed me if i went straight for the firehouse and the power plant. So i got up the hill and started looking. Then someone killed me maybe or maybe not the hacker himself, not sure because i didn't see him. Could have been a ghilli sniper. I couldn't make out what was the weapon. When i was at the death screen i wrote on direct comm "i was friendly but nm". So i spawned on the coast of Elektro. I decided to get revenge. I remembered that there were two tents near the power lines which i saw earlier. Made my way to them, picked um a revolver and headed towards the hill. I was on the edge of the woods oh the southe-west hill when bullets started hitting the ground around me thought it was the guy who killed me before so i got to cover of some trees. Then the shots stopped so tried making my way to the other hill from around the dam. As i got out of the woods shots again. Hit for cover. Said to myself "i'm not going to make it from the south so let me try and come from the north from the city". Got on my way and decided that i will use the cover of the terrain. Went on the west slope of the hill and then i saw bullets flying. Thought that they came from the guy who was shooting at me. So i decided to make my way from where i thought they came from. Then out of nowhere the hacker appeared(didn't know he was one then). He scared the crap out of me so i shot with the revolver in his head. Didn't kill him neither did it make him go unconscious. Thought ok maybe it's lag. I was about to shoot again when he talked to me on direct comm. Told me he was here to negotiate for his friend. Thought his "friend" might be the guy who killed me and was shooting at me. Typed in "you fucker :D" because i was thinking that they were playing with me. So he said some things and told me here have this gear for a compromise for the trouble we made you go through. And suddenly the gear appeared in my hands. I didn't pick it up it just was in my inventory all of a sudden. That was the first strange think that made me belive he was a hacker, the second was that all of the gear wasn't on him. I dropped ot and the hacker asked why. I tieped in "because it's hacked". He replied "ok have it your way". Then bullets started to fire from his mouth as i saw it (they really did :D ). Said to myself the ok maybe it's a garphic glitch and i can't see his weapon, but the bullets were explosive rounds. And i don't think there are such rounds in DayZ. I know there are in ArmA, but i don't think you can find them legitimately in DayZ. Then i got shot and i don't think it was from the hacker, because he just shit his pants laughing.
That's all the info i've got. No screenshots or video. My ingame name at the time (and still is) was MrMartiBG(just like my forum one). I didn't see his name when i was looking at him so i can't help with that either.
