vet servers often disable it. check the server descriptions befor joining.

did the server restart or did it crash? if it crashed you can lose a few minutes to an hour of game play, if it was a restart you may not have saved it in its currently location so it will now be back in theroy where you last saved it...... i think. -

nice, however it should be knowen that the waypoint system will only work on some servers depending on what they have enabled.

softcore with a hardcore option. no thanks, DayZ is already proven is success without even leaving the alpha stage. Still, would love to give WarZ a go.. and at the end of the day, its a great thing that warZ has been annouced, it means hopefully the development of DayZ standalone with move alot faster. -

yeah check to see if the server is set to 'vet'.... play one that isnt...thats ya best chance of getting it back however as stated above, most servers are now vet

there is go prone, then open your inv. or is the the other way round? you will inch forward EVERY SO SLIGHTLY and you should make ya way off the rock, happened to me a few times, that trick works... can just take some time

there are two ways to mark a map. - one gives you a waypoint on some servers that allow it. - the other you need to be carefull, it marks the map with a black circles X which you can then type somthing...... Other players can see that mark, advise against it unless marking a camping group of bandits or campsites.

Your best bet is to post on the hosts forums to get an admins attention, NZ is think is an On3? if so On3network.co.nz is your best bet to get hold of an admin.. good luck getting them to respond at 2pm on a working day :D
