FYI, the "barbed wire" in the game is actually Concertina wire. Have any of you ever actually removed Concertina wire? When I was in the military, I helped install and remove it on multiple occasions, and there is nothing difficult about it. Concertina wire comes in a big hoop that literally stretches out and collapses like a slinky. It's very easy to remove so long as you have metal studded gloves (which I suppose you can say is what the toolbox contains). The way the wire is right now, it is just plain broken. Placing it in doorways because you can't get the "Remove Wire" context menu, and arguing that it is alright because it takes a while to remove barbed wire is just covering for a buggy system that borders on an exploit.

With the amount of running I've done in this game, I should be physically fit enough by now to run 7 marathons in a day.

One could argue that because visibility is decreased in foggy conditions, all other senses are heightened, including hearing. That has also been proven as fact.

Arguing about the "realism" of zombies emanating heat is pretty ridiculous. Fact: human muscles require blood flow to contract/relax. If a zombie's blood is "congealed", there is no way for him to actually move at all according to basic human anatomy. That is realism for you.

How you can possibly know that his model was not rendered in game when he killed you while you were facing the opposite direction is beyond me. It sounds to me like you're just pissed that someone happened to spawn in immediately after you turned your back, and subsequently got the drop on you. I've had the exact same thing happen to me, but I don't consider a system designed around persistence across all servers an exploit. Shitty luck? Yes. Exploit? No.

Is there no way to put a language filter in place on all servers? Seems to me that doing so and using a universal obscene language dictionary would solve most of the problems listed in this thread (save for potential talk of hacking).

I can't speak for other weapons, but AK variants are all 1 hit kills on zombies.

If the wire removal function was fixed up a bit, none of this would be a problem.

I had a guy log in at south NW airfield barracks while I was in there casing the place. He caught me by surprise and fired his M1014 at me. Luckily I ran for cover in the adjacent room after only getting hit once. He was dumb enough to take the bait, so as he rounded the corner I unloaded my 1911 into his face. I walked out of there with a new gun and lots of nice toys, though!

Considering the last time I died and lost my Kobra, AKM, Coyote pack and all my other goodies and found another AKM within 30 minutes of respawning... I don't really mind either. I actually find it somewhat satisfying getting into shootouts with the Mak. All the automatic weapons, silencers and ammo in the world does not a lick of good if you can't shoot straight, and the Mak is just as deadly as an M4 if you can get the drop on someone and pop them in the noggin.

So you didn't actually shoot it down... I was hoping for a video of an AT4 taking down a helicopter.
