I could play DayZ all fine since I started a week ago, but now after the new beta patch then when I try to join a server it just stops loading at the "loading" screen and increases the FPS from 30 to 200 while stuck there. Can someone help me fix this?

Hmmm, I guess we just have to wait for a fix-patch :/ I finally got my normal FPS liftet from 5-10 to 20-25 but then these FPS drops/freezes comes -.-

Arma 2 is some of the best money I givin out the past year, and it only took me 5 hours to learn all the basics. And I have nothing against loosing and dieing, its all a part of the game. -
Well, I started today, and I played like 8 hours and I died 2-3 times and I was pretty good geared on them all. Tho, I dedint saw any people, exept a guy with a AKM that captrued me and my freind inside a building. Tons of fun, really. Dont think about the gear, but think about having fun while trying to get the gear, and if you get it. Then dont think about loosing it, think about having fun with it while you have it! Without just going around and kill everything ofcource! And get someone to play with, makes it fun to. And let the Hatchet be with you.

My FPS is sometimes on 20, and I can easyli play with that, but the most of the time its stuck on 8-10 and I dont know how to get it up on 20 again. I run the lowest settings all the time but its still just 8-10.

Hello, I am new to this game. I played for around 30min. and as far as I played, I really like the game. I manage to do nothing else than running in the woods for 30min, but it was fun. So basicly, I need someone I can play with, maybe someone that can teach me a bit, but a new player would be good as well. :) Edit: It would be cool if someone could post a basic guide on how to survive.

I used this method but it still says the "You cannot play/edit this mission. It is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted.: " And I reinstalled my Arma 2, but it still says it

I dont get the Steam instructions. Because when I but ;@dayz to the right spot and run the file. Nothing happends
