I have experienced some heavy ghosting; resulting in other players disappering/getting stuck in front of me or me disappering from other players (been told so by a friend I play with). That might be a plausible solution.

The one mentioned above didn´t work for me when I started playing. You will have to tweak your graphic settings, that will do the trick. Hit ESC button, click Video and you get four different red tabs - go to one on the bottom right (can´t remember at the moment what it is called) and turn down/off everything in that menu - that did it for me and also a friend of mine.

I got this message the whole time last night, has nothing to do with Green Mountain. The "stories" of Green Mountain are as old as the mod itself, can´t believe that players bother to start this joke all over again. Went to Green Mountain myself and it is the same as always, although it is not as good as the Day Zero-version. All the "feeling dizzy", "you need to rest" etc messages is just a mess at his point

*** SOLVED *** Thanks to JSparks this issue is now solved :D It worked after setting the Tritton 720+ as Default; and I also ran ARMA II as admin - now it sings like a bird :beans:

Direct voice worked on the DE1 server (Zombies.nu) two nights ago

Hmm, that´s a good point. Been playing mostly on two Zombies.nu (DayZero) servers lately, but as far as I remember this has also been the case on other servers too. Been playing some hours on different servers and after a while I got this nagging feeling that no one did hear me since they didn´t respond at all when I was talking. I´m pretty sure this isn´t the case, but not 100%

After building my first PC the direct voice (hitting caps lock) doesn´t work anymore. The mic icon pops up on the screen, but players doesn´t hear my voice. The rest of the game works fine and I hear other players using direct voice. I´ve tested it with a friend, so I know it´s not my headset (Tritton 720+) that is causing the problem; and I´m also using Mumble to communicate with my friend in-game. I´m an experienced DayZ player and used direct voice many times on my previous computer. My parts are ASUS Zabertooth Z77 MoBo ASUS Xonar Phoebus Solo soundcard Inten i7-3770 core EVGA GTX 780 Win 8 Tritton 720+ headset Everything works fine with the mic in other games; except the in-game voice in DayZ. It´s very weird not being able to talk to other players and everybody now count me as hostile since I don´t respond and there is usually no time to sit down and type. And what´s the point doing a co-op with a non-communicating player? Anyone have a clue what to do to get this working again? This is my first PC after +15 years owning Macs, so please be specific if I need to tweak something

No one has yet mentioned the new air drops that can be found out in the fields. Have come across 4 or 5 of them and have found AKM´s, AKS´ and Chez Backpack around them; also ammo and the usual garbage. The funny thing is that after the latest patch I have found 1, ONE, heli crash after hours and hours of playing. At this point I would say that there is almost no heli crashes at all. Am I right?

The adrelaline rush and the fact that you never know what gonna happen next. It´s just unpredictable in a postive way

I use Bootcamp and it works well. Doesn´t get the best FPS, around 20-30 but it works fine for me. 2) I shot a guy a couple of days ago with a CZ 550 and let the zombies finnish him off. Didn´t bother to waste bullets on the two zombies that approached; I was just a few meter away from the victim. The zeds fed on him while he was bleeding out. Didn´t get a kill for that.

Seems to me that the deer stands has been serioulsy nerfed after the latest patch. Haven´t found ANY guns in these now. Mainly garbage, chemligts and a little ammo now and then :(

Haven´t almost played any End Game (BF3) after it´s release or BF3 for that matter. Found on this forum some graphics tweaks that gave me a huge boost and made the game so much more enjoyable three weeks ago :D And yeah, no more Skyrim :)

if you´re using DayZ Commander to launch the mod; there is tab named "Recent" that lists up your recent server in historical order so you don´t need to write the server name down

I agree with The Designer. Absolutely nothing is rare these days. There is "rare" items everywhere. You can find dead bodies in ghilie suits with AS50 and 5 rounds and nothing more. Not a can of pepsi or bandages. Nothing but A+ weapons. Man, the hackers has just in a few weeks totally wrecked this mod. No point in spending hours searching for good loot when at least one person on each server I´ve visited the last week is a hacker and spawns with absolutely everything and can kill everybody with just a few punches on the keyboard. It´s really just a joke at the moment.
