Good afternoon everyone! I just had a thing happen to me and I wanted to share it in order to see if it's a thing or I was just oh so unlucky. So, I was looting the prison-like building north of the NWAF (the one with the well and a few industrial buildings around y'know?) when I suddenly heard gunshots coming from south. An SKS. Curious, I head down to see what's happening and to maybe get some free loot, but, as I move down the hill towards the gunshots, they start getting quieter and quieter. Note: they stared getting quieter even before I moved, so I didn't go in the opposite direction. I end up in the woods east of the tent camp in the AF, the gunshots ended about a minute before and I am scouting to see the winner. With no luck, but that's beyond the point. From then to about 15 minutes later, despite being about 150 meters from the tent camp, a ton of zombies spawn on me and attack me. I started counting after a while and I had to stop at least 17 zeds (without the ones I killed before counting, they might have been like... 4 or 5.). Note that I didn't fire a single shot, but I was very close from where the firefight happened. Can it be related to it? Just, zombies swarming the first living thing where a firefight happened a moment before?

Sacriel is the kind of guy who acts like DayZ is ArmA and that probably wouldn't stand a chance on the aforementioned ArmA.

You would need to upgrade your GPU, CPU and RAM. Consequentially your Mother Board and the power box thingy I can't get the name right now. And no. A shader is a hardware part, so you cannot download it.

If it's an already discussed thing, I apologise, but mobile search is wonky. This big ass bladed thing. Is it supposed to be this weak? I slapped a zombie multiple times with little to no result. I mean, it has a 45cm blade. Is it bugged/unfinished/underpowered or it's me not having a clue on how effective a machete could be?

Made a test with a pristine machete. The range is basically the one of the fire extinguisher, aka you are better bitting the guy's nose. Body hits on a zed basically deal no damage (counted 15 before getting knocked unconsious). Got patched up by a friend and counted 5 solid head hits on a zed before he finally died. Result: Fists > Machete.

Those are nowhere close to being ultimate weapons though.

That's why I don't team up with randoms. I prefer being a lone wolf and taking decisions for myself. I wwouldn't have engaged by the way. Not yet. I would have tried to stalk them and see if I could pick out one or 2 of them while they are alone.

Good morning everyone. Back on DayZ after a looooong pause caused by uni exams. A question. Search function didn't help, but I might be just dumb as a brick. Clanservers. Are they an actual thing now? I see so many servers, especially in the morning when there aren't many players in general, that say "CLAN SERVER JOIN = KICK". I tried joining a bunch and I got, obviously, kicked. Still, most of the times I was getting kicked just after joining, like it was automated. Are they "legal" or sshould I just report those cheating fuzzybunnies?

I like my CR75 when I go into towns and, when looting buldings, I swap to my broomstick sawn off shotgun. That gun is a blast. Pun intended.
