One way to deal with this until devs find a server fix is to have fraps running at all times So when it hits the fan you click a button and have undeniable proof.

This would then lead to needing to add batteries to loot to be able to power the defib. I would also say the defib would probably take up like at least 4 slots in packs if not more to prevent abuse.

I say a absolute no-go. This takes away from the survival aspect.

Like I stated in another post, until something better is implemented the bandit system should be revamped. Here is how. - Instead of only 2 kills making you a bandit, make it 4 or 5 that way it has been consistent and any attempts for self-defense are not majorly impactful. - I made the point of IRL if this happened, you could easily recognize bandits as they would be armed, act suspiciously, wear certain clothes, have certain items. We NEED a way of identifying the same types of people and we already have it, we just need to REVAMP the current system.

As I kept thinking about it, removing the skins isn't a good idea.. IRL you would recognize a bandit because they would most likely be armed to the teeth or wearing certain clothes that give them away. For example season 2 of Walking Dead, that group of guys who came into the town asking for where the farm was were all guys, all had guns, all acted suspicious therefore Rick was able to read them and already be alerted to them. If we don't have any way of doing such in this then that kind've goes out the window a bit. I can see the point of trusting more and everything all equal and such. But I say make the bandit status only happen when they reach like 4 or 5 survivor kills and not just 2. That way the people who protect themselves don't go bandit and the people that just want to kill others will remain a bandit where every survivor will shoot them in the face.

Due to the fact the sheer number of people playing, even video proof would mean someone could just easily change their name a log back on. - If you change name do you still remain same stuff when you log back on? Or is it based on the name you used or by GUID? - Do servers admins have access to logs to see who logged on and off when and their GUID? Based on the answers above, video proof could be enough to ban someone. If in the forums here people also need to include their in-game name and GUID in their profiles it would also leave another trail to find the person as well. ALT-F4'ing should be a bannable offense and should be disciplined at the highest level.
