This dam game is a pile of shit. One thing make sure your not mixing up your regular and hardcore character. I'm currently having a major bug where where im unable to spawn. for the past 12 hours its been unplayable. Click re-spawn and i wait 30seconds to find that im still dead.

Make sure your firewall isnt stopping dayz from working but thats just a guess. Other then that make sure its on internet not local network.

Shot on sight is the only thing that makes this game fun atm. I play dayz for pvp what else is there todo? -

Great thread. Ive played the mod since every early on and it was a great game once people started making there own private servers add more cars and buildings adding more heli crash sites to loot. The mod was fucking awesome! The standalone is going to be great as well but they really have a lot of work ahead of them. I don't enjoy the over realistic features game are suppose to be fun.

Don't quote me on this but there's like a total of 9 barracks on the entire map. 3 at balota 3 at kameanka m.b and 3 at nwaf I fail to see how they are everywhere. Everyone is entitled to there opinion and I totally disagree with everything you've mentioned.

Just yesterday my 2 buddies were camping the hospital near cherno apartments, we killed a few people then started taking direct fire. I got shot three times with a mosin roughly 5 minutes apart I managed to heal a bit in between the damage, however I didn't bleed once. Got knocked out twice. I should have been dead the first shot if not the second one for sure. The third shot hit me in the head... I'm still alive. What did we Learn? Double tap every target to insure they stay down.

Anytime you logout you sit on the ground for 30 seconds.

I've got a lot of kills, even unarmed players are not spared. The less people alive on the server the safer it is. As I mentioned above some times with the noobs I'll just break their legs and leave. It's more down time for them. I made a nood drink alcohol to make him sick then I left him with cuffs on and a broken legs bleeding on the street. This is dayz. People aren't friendly ingame.

I shot everyone on sight to preserve my life and my allies. That guy would have done the same to you.

This game is great for wasting dayz at a time. To me this is yet another waste of time. Yet another shit update... Back to the mod. This is a video game when it becomes more tedious then fun gtfo.

Hey everyone, just started playing DayZ S.A today and got sick after eating a rotten kiwi. I've so far been unable to cure it with dieting and eating right. How does one get healthy again? Also what are the negative affects to being sick other then hearing yourself cough and the screen turning greyish? Overall really happy about the S.A being released and so far so good. A few bugs and glitches but that's to be expected. This game in 1 years time will be 10/10. Good work guys keep it up! B)

Here's the bottom line, the DayZ team needs to implement player moderators that can ban these ass hats for hacking. During the mod I only played on private servers because hacking was such an issue.

I'm really not sure if I like how the loot spawns. It's my understanding that loot spawns on server restart which is every couple hours. If your looking for loot you should go on a server wish less players.

What part of alpha are you people missing here? This game is subject to change for the better. If you don't know the game follow a road till you find a town or follow the power lines that will also take you to a town. -
I picked up two med kits and both didn't have any in them. perhaps its a death sentence. This game is defiantly a challenge more so then the mod.

I found the same issue, I also found if a zombie is looking your way he will spot you regardless if your in a building behind a fence crouched, these zombies have my number. Thank the good lord I've hot my handy dany axe. -
