If it was just five minutes we wouldn't be talking right now. The issue with the game being so broken it means it have to restart my game often which leads to pointless timers that are stopping goshting or loot hopping its strickly an annoyance. For instance you should be able to log in and out of the same server multiple times without a timer. if you switch servers que the timer but relogging because of a sound bug or something silly shouldn't be a 300 second timer imo.

Ok this is frustrating, first you guys said .37 update was coming out Wednesday now it saterday and still nothing. It would be better if you didn't promos updates times that you cant make. So my question is when's the next stable branch update?

The map is supposed to be roughly 250kmsq. my character can run from one side of the map to the other in 30min or less, your debate is realism? technically my character is running 40km an hour as it is. 40km an hour isn't that fast.

It's impossible to hit any targets in this game with an M4 from a few hundred meters away.

Once dayz mod was founded it paved the way for other moders to put their spin on things the hardest part is getting the code working, adding cars and trucks is the easy part. Regarding the alpha the dev team is coding the most complex portions of the game and working out bugs. In the future once the full game is release the modding community will again build there vision of dayz. Understanding that the massive amount of trial and error in the alpha beta stage paves the way for others who want to add their skrips to the game. The dayz mod used Amara 2 net code to make it fictional, skrips where added to make zombies clothing guns loot spawns. In the standalone we are seeing a lot less scrips used to help elevate hacking. Coding a video game is the most complex form of coding, period! People don't understand what it means to fix a bug. Imagine looking through hundreds if not thousands of pages or raw text and trying to tweak it for a fix without breaking something a lot the lines, good games take years to develop.

Great feed back god dam I love this forum. The thing I'm stressing here is dayz dev team is great at wasting my time. I know and understand why they added that feature but this game crashes, kicks or bugs out and it results in unnecessary wait timers. Here's another example, sometimes when I join a server my sound doesn't work.. So I relog and wait 300 seconds. It does more bad then good.

Whoever coded the sounds in game need to be fired. On an empty server I've been hearing pops, ammo reloading, zombies, eating you name it. My buddy and I have done sound tests and he was 400m away shot the sks 5 times I didn't hear anything!!!!!! Major sound issues in this game that need to be fixed!

PvE is a joke The bigger joke is the fact that dean is planning to add more zombies! You don't need more you just need the ones in game to actually do something, the AI in dayz is shit. Make the zombies smarter.

I'm sure you've been in game and suddenly disconnected for no reason, that is due to the admin team force stopping the server after they die so they get their gear back. Yesterday my best friend and I where in a fight in electro we killed one of the bandit squad members right after not more then 10 seconds the server was manually restarted. The dev team implements pointless login timers that really have no point at all but a lot admins to input scrips and abuse server renting privileges without any over sight from the dev team. There's really no good way of reporting this. Servers make up there own bull shit rules. Some servers claim to have night vision admins and other OP cheats. The dev team really needs to rethink their server hosting rules because this is really frustrating.

Dayz is trying to be realistic removing guns isn't realistic. I'd quit the game if they did that.

Trust me with dean stepping down I'm sure the game will continue to be great, dean is a inventor he wants to create another new hit and sell it to the next company. Dayz isn't going anywhere

Dayz is just a game. I'm really a humble person in real life though in game I'm a ruthless bandit, why? Simple it's just a game I look at everyone in game as some kind of threat or competition so it's in my best interest to eliminate as many people as possible. Whether people like to think so or not DayZ is a pvp game. In real life I wouldn't act the same as I do in dayz because I truly couldn't hurt a fly.

Predictor animals need to be added, the forests in dayz are too safe.. The majority of ears should be located up north. The costal areas should be safer. I'd like to see deer added, not stupid ai deer. If the deer hears you then jet off. Wolves should be added in packs of 3-4

When i log into any server it either said im unconscious or im dead. after clicking respawn still says im dead after making me wait 30 seconds. This game is so fucking broken ........

Good for you. I believe theres something that triggers the issue for instance.. When you die and logout without respawning right away, once you come back you'll have the issue. I went to a server where i had really low ping and kept trying to re-spawn and it eventually worked two of my friends had the exact same issue yesterday so its not just me.

Who fucking releases a game when the re-spawn mechanic is broken, sure i get its alpha but dam... this shit is literally unplayable. As for searching for threads fuck that I do what I want... keep spaming the forums till they fix it imo. this is a major bug one that they should hotfix it asap.
